Beau you cheeky bugger, most of us cant afford to buy or insure a GT yet you get one handed to you for under £100  and no Im not jealous.... ok maybe just a little bit

I've gotta say it doesnt look too bad considering it has been sat for quite a while. Im surprised that its running at all let alone "fine" but fair play to you.

Are you seriously considering keeping it and using it as your first car? I can almost garentee that you will stack it if you do, no matter how confident you are/will be of your driving ability you wont be prepared for the kind of power that car will put down and you will end up regretting it.

My suggestion to you mate would be clean it up a bit, get it running properly, return it to standard and then sell it on. You will get a lot of money for a STANDARD GT1 because they are so hard to find these days.

Whatever you do, good luck mate (y) but if you do keep it and end up being raped by the insurance company purely because of your age or even more so because you stacked it or go caught speeding please dont come crying to us because we will say WE TOLD YOU SO

Oh and another thing I would like to point out, you told me the other day that I would be better off buying a mk2 JTD over a mk1 GT and then you went and brought a mk GT

Cant fault it Beau, no wonder you kept it quiet.

Your getting as bad as me with all these puntos kicking about.

You aleady know what i think about you keeping it, but theres money to be made there for sure, i would have a few bits off it ;)

As for the Sporting badge, not impressed :p
lol, im not breaking it lol, the engine runs pretty nice lol, so... yeah i want it :p

but still aint sure about what to do :( lol, but i think i should stop buying puntos :p 2 puntos at 16 is enough  lol

i couldnt believe it when it came, i was expecting standard lol, think wow its low, then see big alloys lol, then see all smoothed and colour coded lol, then see exhaust :D look inside, oh, uprated speakers, and then looked under bonnet and all blue hoses and shiney chrome stuff lol :D i cant believe how nice it sounds  it goes tish well loud lol (y)

Who checked the engine out and told you its alright ?

It will need to be road tested to find problems with it.

My advice, clean it up, get it taken for an mot to see what work it needs, do the work and then ebay it.

Then spend the money on making your sx how you want it.

yeah but i cant sell it now, iv fell in love with it, thats that lol, i wont sell it :p

Best of luck getting insurance, by the time your driving it will be wanked if it isnt stolen first :p

break it up and sell me the shox and springs seing as you ignored my comment is classifieds :p, dont have that as your first car mate it would be suicidal, get used to your "sporting lookalike" then look at buying a gt when youve built your no claims and gained some experience.

take it back! u wnt get insured on that :nono:

im sorry but your other punto is suited for a first time driver more and the insurance would still be quite high with all those mods

looks abit rough to me and two of the centre caps are missing on your wheels :p

good on you mate, good price for what you paid for it mate, but dont start driving it about

I thought you'd get it Beau - but what I would do is either

1 - break it - keep any GT bits for yourself, body panels etc for the 75
2 - flog it straight on and make a quick few quid
3 - get it MOT'd and sold on

Are there any bits on there you could fit to your 75 to improve it? I know about your situation regarding insurance, but the problem will be your ability to drive it safely - the last thing you'd want to do is stack it shortly after passing your test.
