First one up is my Mazda MX6 2.5, love her to bits!

Next is my project car. +/-'79 Fiat X1/9. not running at the moment, prepping for a re-spray. Pls note the original wheel center caps! all 4!

And then the new lady, a running X1/9!

The running X1/9 looks good, as does the respray project but of course it'll look a lot better when sprayed up and finished.

As for the MX6 it'd look a lot better without a shopping list cluttering the door and rear window(s).

yeah, those have since been removed. You'll be suprised at how the HTF dropped when i removed them.

yeah but turning the heads of spotty teenagers isnt a good thing

i'm pleased there's someone trying to save a couple of x1/9s, very valiant of you, i hope they both live a long and happy life. a tip for the non-runner, choose a colour, any colour, but only one (preferable the original colour). those red bits make me want to steal it and give it a good home. (or nick the centrecaps for ebay)

Ha ha! Amazingly enough, it turns the heads of the old and young alike, both male and female! Admit it, we all like it when our cars catch peoples attention! Makes you feel proud. It's even better when the guy / girl comes up to you to tell you, you have a hot ride!

I'm thinking of going black with tan leather interior. Probably chrome the corner bumpers and the metal trims. The plastic vents that are that aweful red will become a matte black. I'll offset the gloss, metalic black paintwork with matte 'ladder stripes' in the door crease, as found on the '77.
