just cut em down with a hacksaw, or turn the ends down with a lathe. It would take less than 1 minute to do all four with the hacksaw, im not joking. Clamp it by the head, or put two nuts on, tightened them level together, and put it in a vice. easy as.

Sorry to hijack your thread Dunc

The worlds most ground breaking guitarist of modern times has to be Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine/ Audioslave, though his work in Audioslave is not a patch on his previous playing in RATM. Morello made people sit up and say "WTF?" as he pushed guitar playing to unheard of limits more than any other guitar player since Jimi Hendrix.

As for the turbo, the old front looks better because the new one looks unfinished. Personally I prefer more of a standard look overall, but as yours is built for one purpose in life - i.e. going VERY fast, the additional options are ok because they are there for a reason. Who says a monster track car has to look good aesthetically?!!!!!!

Get it finished Dunc and get some 1/4 mile timing slips that will upset the Cosworth owners

I wasnt gona comment on the guitar players but yes, you are bsolutely correct in what you are saying. Audioslave have ben my fav band r the past few years now, love the guitars and the vocals. Chris Cornell was good in soundgarden too but his voice has seasoned even moreso with time, back on topic ahem!

I'm afraid I was very disappointed with Audioslave as I was such a big RATM fan. Also, I was never a fan of Soundgarden or Chris Cornell's vocals. Bring back Zac!

But that's just my tastes, and Audioslave are very successful so I guess I must be in the minority.

Another great guitarist is Dave Navarro from Janes Addiction/ The Panic Channel. Though he gets dangerously close to 'guitar masturbation' at times he's done some great guitar lines and riffs.

A very underated guitarist is Andy Summers of the Police. His stuff sounds easy, but you try playing it Also very inventive in his use of effects.

Though not as good as he used to be, Alex Lifeson from RUSH was a truly fantastic guitar player and very, very versatile.

Back to Dunc's Uno...

Dunc, your car has the stipped out racer look to it, and that intercooler does look a little too big for me. We need to see it with the new grill to really decide!

Me, I like street sleepers so I'd keep it very discrete and only let people know what's under the bonnet when I put my foot down at the lights

Don't think you can make that intercooler discrete though!

Re: my UT before and after...

love it dunc, the intercooler is a tad on the large side, but it's what makes the car.

Audioslave technically are not as good as RATM - but then again they're not the same band - Dave Navarro makes Janes Addiction sound great but made the RHCP sound rather dull (in comparison to John Frusciante)
