Well after many a month of being off the road, the Punto finally came back on the road today.

Back in May, I took her off the road because she was starting to smoke quite a bit.

Took the head off and found 3 large cracks in it. Also found that the bearings in the turbo were shot.

so after a lot of saving, i finally bought a head and a turbo and fitted them over the weekend.

All the pics I took can be found here http://www.puntosports.co.uk/photopost/sho...ery.php?cat=652

Here are just a few of the pics I took.

yes but your 15 so your opinion doesnt matter :D

nicest gt ever? i bloody well think so.... a credit to you sir *cough* anthricate wheels *cough* :worship:

Thanks very much :D

I did originally plan to get the wheels powder coated, but I unsure at the moment :(

I love the white wheels because IMO they give it a race look, but the anthracite wheels keep with the colour scheme. So I really don't know at the moment.

I loved my anthracite 20VT wheels I had before, so who knows.

I have a carbon fetish, so I know where you guys are coming from on the anthracite front :p

Liam, yes I was after a cylinder head, and I got one, hence why my car is finally back on the road ;)

Frosty, yes, standard head. I am currently on a tight budget so couldn't do much else with it. But the experience of building it myself was invaluable. The turbo was dead too, and i found a £50 replacement until I can afford my mates MD103 I plan to buy.

Sammiboo, very random indeed LOL

Thanks for the comments guys.
