yeah was quite well made! not a 100% perfect fit but the plastic bumper just bends to meet the splitter ok so its fine

I chose it cause it work with the standard bumper well.. looks modified but not ott... could still be standard i suppose!

only £35 too

yeah i think you may want to keep those wheels for a bit(other thread)as i doubt it will be drivable on 15's re clearence

ive already taken em off ebay now.. i do really like the wheels though! just wanted something euro stylee.. but can do best of both really

is that an R&A splitter, they're luvly just to have one on my old punto! Infact its still in the backgarden collecting dust lol

ive already started smoothing it! looks loads better but ive put the bump strip back on and ill just spray it body coloured when i spray the bumper!

to be honest i think due to the slight dish on them u could pull off a smooth euro look rather sucessfully and keep them!

IMO: get rid of the JTD badge and the wiper, smooth the bump strips in, and a central twin 3" exhaust

dont fancy your chances over speed bumps, kerbs or garage ramps, especially if its fibreglass, but cracks and flaky paint are all part of the boyracer look so i'm sure you'll get used to it. you could probably do with a speed bump database on your sat nav to help you avoid them.

out of all the body kit bits i usually hate rear skirts or valances the most, but that one is actually very good, probably the best ive ever seen. it could almost pass as a fiat accessory if it was an inch and a half higher. it does suit the standard bumper well, unlike most others that look like they've been designed for another car (or spaceship) and then bodged on, that one actually compliments the lines and shape of the standard bumper. thats quite an achievement. who designed it?

Just a thought, won't the standard exhaust be blowing directly on the splitter?

as for knocking on bumps.. as it is now ital be fine. it looks lower in pics that it actually is to be honest.

The reason i went for it was that it does compliment the standard bumper perfectly! follows the lines exact and does almost look standard!
