Barchetta My Barchetta

Introduction

Now ready for the public :)

This is how it looked when I bought it......
Front & o/side fully painted, new hood from Germany, new bumper from Fiat £377  Cat back powerflow exhaust (initially too long now shortened).

Oil/filter change, air filter change, new plugs, new rear bearings.

Just need a set of alloys to finish probably one of these.......

Hope you like her....

Very Very nice Alan, your car has made me give the barchetta a second look, dismissed them before, but yours is stunning. :)

I love the first wheels, as Charlie says, dark grey and silver go together a great and the colour of them is gorgeous. Ultimately its your decision. go with your personal preference and what you think would match the car even if you like them all equally :p

I know but the parkers prices just don't compute unless selling to the dealer Still saw 95 models making £3500+ on ebay (not minted) but models with damage no MOT made £1600 or less.

I would rather restore the 97 myself than pay much more for one that will need doing later as most are stone chipped small dents scrapes wear & tear etc where mine is now nearly done cheaper than I would have got one from ebay autotrader. I've never seen one in a trade auction. They are rare to begin with and will become more & more so.

I think list price for the 97 R is 1K odd in parkers

I had no idea the bumper would be that much. But it had to be done I suppose. I think you've made a worthwhile investment.

...Now go and chase up Fiat about that gorgeous red one you bought off the phone.
