cheers for the comments peeps

@arseofbox: i live just outside alti, got them done at a back street garage near me for £180 sprayed and fitted (this was a good price and was very good value for money)

@brickfoot: yeah the guy who fitted them for me said they were a bugger to fit. all 4 wheels off and up on a ramp... impossible to do on your own without a ramp etc

thanks for everyone elses comments, i'm well chuffed with the new look of the car, the pics dont do the car justice totally, but so pleased.

Outside Alty eh? Never seen me in me red Cinq (L412 FNK)? Whats the garage called?- Im in Alty (Timperley) and i'm probs skirt hunting!!

i'm from lymm, you know it? 2 miles out of alti
i got my skirts fitted at a garage in warrington, lol he said he's never fitting side skirts again cos he had a bit of hassle with the bonding.

ive never seen your car no, but you might know my mate, he drives a black mk1 punto with 17" compomotives on, lives round near you...

ive not seen him since we left 6th form (2 years ago) just wondered if you know him/know of his car?

Nope. sorry not seen it (Probably have- just a little onlivious to road content whilst driving!!)

Hi

Are these original FIAT skirts, did they come painted or primed, and how much, if you don't mind me asking were they, and oh how are they fixed?

Thanks.

twincamms:
Yeah, they're original Abarth skirts from Fiat, the price in the brochure is wrong, so they're £215. They come black, ready to be painted in the colour of your car, and with badges and screws:

you have to buy the bonding kit seperately:

another £30, so it wasn't too cheap but i'm pleased with the results - worth it.

thet're fixed using screws underneath the car, screws at the sides (in the arches) and one more (under the abrath badge) into the bodywork, then the bond goes all the way down the side of the skirts, again to the bodywork.

hope this helps
dan
