I bet it's a Panda that wins!

If I had to make that Journey - I'd want to do it in a Panda!

Ac tually - I might take Flash next year..............:chin:

I totally understand that rocking horse poop is more common than 4x4's these days but at least hes going to spend maybe the best/most memorable time of his life driving such a car, good way to remember it, imo.

I totally disagree with the other chap doing a panda rally on the other thread who kinda introduced himself by saying:-
"Im doing a 8000 mile rally so ive tried to find ****est car ever! a panda 4x4"

So come on Fiat enthusiasts at least be enthusiastic.

I agree that if your going to do a rally like this, what better way to do it! Panda's make even the smallest trips an adventure, just imagine going that far! I would love to do it some day, but tbh i would like to do the impossible and drive it back aswell! :D Time and money are the limiting factors atm, patience shall provail!
Best of luck to you, try and get that panda there in one piece now, and give it a good home :) if you can. I admire what your doing for charity, uv got the right attitude towards it aswell, not like the c**k who said that the 4x4 panda is the ****test car he could think of! :D I aint wishing luck to that kinda attitude. All the best!
Cheers

My mum saw these guys fund-raising in Scarborough.

Good on them I say. As for it being rare - 1000 left on the roads today? Tipo Sedicivalvole only had 500 brought into the country over 12 years ago.. probably less than 100 left now. Now they're a rare Fiat which should be preserved!

true, but nobody is taking one to Mongolia are they :)

I'm not really convinced by the it's so rare it must be saved argument, and if someone seriously believed that then buy the thing off them. They only expect to raise 3 grand, offer to pat the charity 3001 and they should have a moral obligation to take it.

However I also fail to see what use a Panda 4 X4 is out there, presumably it'll be as rare a rocking horse S**t, no-one can fix it, there are no spares it isn't big enough to earn money as a Taxi or take the harvest to market. If they seriously want to help take a Toyata Hi lux pickup, that's an object of desire!
