Ive done alot to my uno recently (some of which you will be able to see soon!)... I decided to take off the checkered flag decals as I thought they were too obvious. Also I have had the grill modded (Thanks Unoboy).

There will be some photos of the interior tomorrow, got some Corbeau Clubmans and ive removed the rear seats and moved the sub around, not finished yet but its looking good [8D]

mines a mk2 as well with a mk 1 rear boot and rear lights by the way. put the mk1 rear boot on cos the spoiler is already blended in :) (just in case u thought it was a mk1 uno)

I didnt fit them (bought the car with them :D) but there arent any mods to the arches.

They scrub when I have a full load of fat people heh... well no, when theres 4 people in the car it scrubs alot. 3 is bearable but its fine with 2.

Can the MK1 turbo bootlid fit the MK2? I know the MK2 turbo one will but im sure the MK1 is a thinner car (well the non turbo version is!) ... also im surte the locks are in a different place!... or does it just go on easy? Cause i really want the boot with the blended rear spoiler.

yeah ive been thinkin of loosin the spoiler for the bootlid one from the MK1 turbo. If the mk1 bootlid fits then Ill get one and spray it. If it doesnt then you can get the spoiler seperate but Im not forking out for it!

And yeha I wanna get my windows done but not got around to it yet and aint got the cash at the mo... well i do but im watching it now!

Check my new post for photos of my new clubmans!

how much were them seats and do they do em in blue? and did u have to take the back seats out to fit them? and if u get the new spoiler ill have the 1 u got for the right price of course!

gotta love the uno's

the mk1 boot fits and is the same shape but the hinges are in a slightly different place so u ned to modify em on either the car or the mk1 boot to match em up. plus u need mk1 rear shelf and the mk1 rear bits where the standard speakers sit underneath. its not a easy easy job but can be done :) u gotta use mk1 rear lights too

spam0r, i notice u live in derby, where abouts cos i live not far from there and know it really well

well all i am planning on changing is the lights, dont need the new parcel shelf cause I will just either modify my old one or make a new one. as for the little side bits then Ill see. If its just because of the connections to power the wiper etc then its no prob as ill just run a perminent cable instead.

As for hinges, are they bolted on or will i need to weld them into the new place? also how does the locking mechanism line up? is the catch in the centre like the MK2 or is it off to the side where the key hole is? I notice that yours doesnt have the key part cause its been delocked. How do you open it then? The bootlid im getting is debadged and denumberplated wso im going to have to move my numperplate and reposition the littl light too!

spamor. The seats cost me around £350 altogether. that includes the seats themselves at £80 each, the subframes at £40 each and the harnesses at £50 each.

Once they are in you cant actually get to the back seats as these do not come forwards so you might as well take out the back seats but you dont need to as they all fit in fine together, you just cant get to them without some sort of army training.

They do sport reclining seats! Bit more £££, and bit less support then a standard bucket in the same price range, but if you need access to the back seats, these are ideal.

Only thing is, you'd have classy front seats and nasty Fiat trim rear seat.... :)

Another day...another problem...

yeah you can get the recliners but do they come forward enough? like with the normal seats the whole seat lifts up and forward so its easy to get in the back.,.,. you would still have to climb over the seat to get in the ack if it didnt come forward like the normal ones

bushboy, on the mk2 turbo u get a lever on the floor near the drivers seat to open the rear boot so u don't need the lock etc plus i got a clifford so its remote locking. the hinges are bolted on but u'll need to make new holes for em. the locking mechinisum is in the middle on both mk1 and mk2 (i think lol)

spam0r, yeah i know kilburn, near belper. i live in ambergate. the bloke who does all my body work is based in kilburn so know it very well. we'll meet up if u want sometime and i'll take u for a blast if ya like

mine doesnt have the lever... must just be the turbo or higher spec models of the MK2 (mines pretty basic as far as spec goes, doesnt even have the clock :p)

Hopefully (as u said) the lock is i nthe middle as ital make things easier. The bolts will be fine to put on so no probs with that. Just have to wait and see when I get the boot
