Punto (Mk1) Finally got my exhaust fitted, Mk1 punto 75

Introduction

Well finally i got my exhaust made and fitted. It only took me one night. I made the full system myself and its a stright through exhaust from the catalyst to the back=box which i bought cheap. I know it isnt a performance mod as i made the system myself but its all 42mm pipe which is what was already on, and its all smooth curves so its not restrictive and the power has niether decreased or increased (it just sounds nice.) I couldnt afford a smart exhaust from somewhere else and i couldnt find one thati liked ( as i wanted this style) anyway tell me what you think, comment in whatever way good or bad (y) Overall this exhaust cost me £18.50 to make :p (for the full system including tips and back-box

You need to cut into your bumper at bit, will look sweet, looks a bit daft a round exhaust poking out of a straight bumper :)

Would I be right in saying you nicked them tailpipes off a pair of Saxos Jordan? :)

 No you would not!

Lol, they each came off standard pug 206 exhausts, but they are still just tips .

Wondered when you'd find this thread Helz, thanks very much (y)

Applesei - if i cut the bumper itwould look odd as they are siting don from it, there just isnt any point, but when i colour code my bumpers after smoothign them, I may add an extension under the bumper, and i would then have to round them out (y)

Lots of places do custom-made ones now Ryan, that's what I had to resort to when I needed one at short notice (how easy it is to get Bravo ones, how hard to get the extra bit of tubing for a Brava).

how much am i looking at for a custom one then? i really just want a twin exit on either sides (y)

They look fine as they are IMO, took me a while to find it as I was away all weekend enjoying myself in the dust at Donny :) Ryan, my Powerflow one cost me £300 at Gates Tyres, Workington. Hellcat got a similar one done for less darn sarf IIRC so might be worth asking him where he got it done :)
