Here it is, my standard-but-still-beautiful 55SX, looking shiny just after a wash! (The dents aren't my fault, they're down to the car's 2 previous female owners [xx(]).

Just needs some clear side repeaters...

Looking good, nice tidy original example. I had two previous female owners too, though I can't say if the little dents were down to them or other cars in the car parks. Here's a comparison for your repeaters..

Hey Pritch, I'm feeling a set of clear repeaters coming on now I've seen them...they definitely add a touch of class on your SX. Looks in great nick, especially for an M-plater! :D
One thing I can't work out is which Punto's got the clear front indicator lenses as fitted to both our cars. I've seen SX's with the orange lenses, and I've also seen L and M-plate Puntos with them. Can't be a 3 or 5-door thing as both our cars have them...any ideas??

Ta! Yeah I thought about the indicators before. I think it must have just been an option or something. Have you ever had yours out by the way? I loosened the spring on mine yesterday to clean a load of muck away that had got between headlight and indicator. Turned out that was the tip of the iceberg. It was filthy behind there! I felt guilty for not having done it before :I

I dunno where the woman who had it before me lived but I've been finding those little evergreen branch thingies behind every part of the car since I got it (a year ago to the day - hence the clean and photies :) When I took the rear light clusters off for the first time half a forest fell out :D Puntos accumalate crap just about everywhere!

Hrm. The Mrs. has just had a go at me for spending too long on cars and internet B)

Hey ppl

nice cars, looking mint! ;)

My car has a few dents too, bought it like that tho.

I've still got orange side repeaters on my car too, Jonnyboy u wanna go nick Pritche's side repeaters. lol. ( only kiddin mate )

U's gonna put some mods on yer car's?

L8r dudes

lol Jono, you have the left one and I'll have the right :D

As for mods, I think the side repeaters will be the last change I make to my car. It's got a K&N, EBC Green fast road brakepads, Sony minidisc head unit and a 12" sub...I might do a few interior tweaks using UV LEDs but that's about it. Can't afford to do any more!

And now that you mention it, Pritch, I really ought to take my indicators out sometime and clean 'em, as the drivers' side one has a touch of the dreaded green fungus in it [xx(]

Sorted! The lefts mine :D

Did the K&N make a big difference to ur car sound wise? I just put a 57i induction kit on and it didn't make a big difference. Gonna get a Powerflow soon tho :D

Oi, get off me repeaters ya thieving gits!! :D

Jono as per your question about mods, I'm not sure. I'm getting remote locking done which is just a personal thing I like, doesn't improve looks of the car of course. I've given a lot of thought to alloys lately. If I were going to get some they'd have to be Fiat, either 14 inch sporting or, better still, mk2 sporting alloys which would look great, as I've seen them on a mk1 already looking the biz.

Thing is, I'd have to declare them and I'm pretty sure it'll affect my insurance. Also, without power steering 15 inches is harder to move than 13. I have to do a fair bit of parrallel parking as well so risk of kerbing (althogh I'd probably play it safe if I got some). Then there's the problem of some bastard trying to nick them and the increased agro from Kevs at lights. TBH, I dunno if it's worth it or save money now for my next car.
