Dave - true. I've got 175/50 r 13's on, which are slightly lower profile than standard. It has settled a little since that pic too, there's 45mm between the tyre and arch, or 290mm between the wheel centre cap and arch. Didn't actually measure it before the drop, but if anyone has a non - lowered one, could they give me the measurements please and I'll check.

Mine's actually on Spax, alleged 40m drop, but it's gone further. PI springs lower by 50mm approx. and www.fastfiat.com do some -60mm springs (figures based on a Sporting).

Trust me though, you do not want it any lower than this. There isn't enough suspension travel left now, the sump has 2 dents and the Eibach anti roll bar scrapes on speedbumps as there's only 2 1/2" clearance (agreed, the eibach bar is lower than a standard one though). If you need to fill the arches better, go for 14" or 15" wheels.

Hi Pete

How long do the springs generally take to settle down, I had Eibach springs put on about three weeks ago and the back has slowly become lower, (probably too low) but the front have remained the same, it looks like I dropped the back by 60mm and the front by 40mm, strange but true. Also, my wheels were laser aligned the following day, should I have waited for the springs to settle before doing that as well? Look forward to your response.

Cheers

It can take a month or two for the springs to settle in properly in my experience, sometimes cheap springs (wouldn't put Eibach in this category) just keep sagging with age (as with many things!![:0]) I've had tracking checked after lowering cars before, and not once has it needed adjusting - I'd think you should be ok.

Mine has drop to its final height now it did take a while but i think its finally settled I went 4 Pi as they cud b fitted the next day :D and Xtreme recomended them rather than the cheaper 1's they had got to be siad i've been very impressed with them. I think my m8's cinq is a perfect example of a cinq on sagged suspension Brickfoot has a side photo of it mayby he can post it 4 u ;)
