Panda Minimal Panda

Panda 169 1.1 2009
You name it...it doesn't have it.

I am lucky to have a new one, but I still agree, if it doesn't have it, it doesn't need it. You cant use much more power these days so 95% of the time that's fine. For the 5% you wished it had more oomph you can get a warm glow thinking of how much less damage you are doing to the planet than the silly overpowered majority. Spend your savings wisely!

I've had my 2004 1200 Dynamic for a couple of months now, and I love it. I am a time served mechanic and I've give it a service along with a cam belt etc. As you can see by my signature I have a Mercedes as well but I get just as much pleasure driving the Panda as I do the Merc.

The Panda is at it's best when configured as initially designed - basic and no frills practicality!

Not saying i dont like the posh ones - i very much do....but there is something very desirable to be about a basic panda.

My mam has an Active Eco and i suppose it isn't really mega basic.....after all it has electric front windows, central locking and a CD player!

I've been watching some video's on YouTube about the Panda 4x4 The little beggars are amazing, they'l go just about anywhere sometimes more successfully than the Range Rover Or Free Lander. I think I'm in love :worship:

I do like the 100HP but while it's quick it's not quite quick enough - 120bhp would be nice. Saying that, 1.2 60 (Euro 4 version) almost always has enough go for almost any occasion. It picks up it's skirts at 75 (indicated speed) and will soon be past 85 and keeping on going. Nice but annoying as you have to really watch the speedo when motoring on. The 100HP does not do that until its already going "How Fast!!" so a bit less hassle on long fast(er) drives.

My Panda 1.2 has 60bhp and I use as much of that power that I can! (More than having 600bhp and using a fraction of it to stay at legal speeds.)
