Then set bout fitting the full gt running gear then ended up fitting a lift off bonnet which was really light..!

Then I got a set of morette head lights then started to take them apart and fit the angel rings in the lights
Then I purchased a fully forged punto gt engine with bigger pistons bigger turbo gt28rs tubular manifold and brought a set of d2 coilovers
Then paint time..!!
Then the fun part of putting it all back together again..!!!

Then I set bout making a set of carbon covers for the punto gt wing mirrors , fitted a auto dimming bmw 1 series rear view mirror,
Made a set of carbon fuse and relay covers
Brought a carbon bonnet and fitted that

Then all ready for mot booked for a Saturday, I leave for work and walk past the punto as I normally do to check it out, then later that day I get a call from my neighbour that my punto it on a back of a lift lorry , So i race home while on the phone to the police giving them the same details that my neighbour gave me , number plate of the lorry the colour , I arrived home and been on the phone to the police for 2hours by this point bout it , wasn’t on the police record, and no on dvla records or compounds, so turns out it’s been stolen from my drive..!!! I put a message on face book bout 2pm about my punto being stolen from my drive and by 7pm I had a location, name , and pictures of it on a lorry
Found out that it was stolen for parts so they smashed driver side window pas side window and put a chain though and lifted it that way hence all the dam damage..!! Found it in a yard still on the lorry later that same day that it was stolen and by 3 pm the next day police came and arrested 4 people in the yard bout my car..! Turns out it was a nick to order ring..!! Finally got the car back home so the insurance can come and assess the damage and after a week they came n went then got told that it’s a write off ...!! Ended up buying it back and stripping it all down again then found another fiat punto gd turbo shell and set to work on that..!!!!

You have certainly spent some hours & coin on the way , many people would have given up [emoji1307]. the thieves who stole it need their hands chopping off !! you can have numerous security devices but can’t stop them just lifting it and wrecking the shell that’s insane .

Thank you...! Yeh I definitely have...! Yeh there was many times I could of given up but carried on and here I am now! Yeh they got arrested but not enough evidence.... god knows how they worked that out!!!!yeh the problem is it they want the car they will have it no matter what you have fitted!! Yeh they definitely damaged the roof!!

Tbh I was very lucky my mate was breaking the gt and was ready to scrap the shell..! Lucky I got it in time..!! Yeh there’s not many clean ones about no more..!! Yeh I appreciate that you respect the work not many understand the amount of work,time,money what’s gone into it.! Where’s abouts you from..? Will you be a tending auto Italia in may..?

i'd bet any money your car was seen on facebook by some dodgy **** and thats how it was targeted.. hey ho, that the past now, i notice all the pics after that event are taken in front of or in a garage, don't blame you haha

Auto italia in brook lands is a over a big area..! It’s a really good day out if your a petrol head..!

Funny enough I thought that but they drove past n saw it one night and then the next day it was gone..! Yeh it’s in a garage now...!! Not taking that chance again.

Painted my nomad twin gauge pod after having it for over a year in the garage..!!!

I’m going down the garage tomorrow to get her ready for welding on Friday I’ll post some pics up tomorrow

Got a set of rear disk protectors and painted them in stone chip paint

Started fitting my stepper gauges to my painted pods
And fitted a black filter to the oil breather
