Couldn’t get radio to stay tuned in

Checked connections front and rear ... swapped out aerial mast ... no avail

Bought this off eBay .... 1/2 later full gamut of stations , another job done.. oh and I’ve ordered the aux cable stereo ... from China , so I’ll wait the 72 weeks ;)

Did you have a hard time replacing the aerial mast? Im assuming you need to drop the roof liner?

2 pop connectors in roof lining accessed from boot , pull off rubber seal around top edge of boot opening then with a little tweak and stretch you can access the underside of aerial with long reach spanner . You have to pop off connector that holds the cable to Disconnect aerial.

Probably makes no sense ?

Took no time at all , just be careful with clips and headlining ... all a little fragile, good luck

no makes perfect sense. So happy it can be done without removing the headliner... My aerial base is also broken so I need to replace... Don't mean to jack your thread but was it a simple nut and threaded rod at the base of the aerial mast. I need to buy one before getting started and need to know if I can simply buy a universal.

Thanks for the info bud! Rockstar material right there

Simple nut and threaded bolt ( same nut size as came off original ) - not sure about universal fitments but as I bought like for like it wasn’t a problem/ worry

Fixed reversing light ( just noticed it wasn’t working) ... same bulb as used on my classic mini ... modern then? , at least I had a bulb

New wiper blades all round

New washer bottle cap ( garage ‘lost’ it while doing cambelt)

Winter wheels and tyres on ( went on ok, put small 5mm spacers just to give a little clearance over callipers ... old mini part again!)

Upgraded both interior lights with led bulbs .... blinding !!!

Fettled with washer jets

Bought boot tidy from Aldi. £4 filled it , with scraper , washer fluid etc)

All ready for winter

any updates on the sexy black panda?

Do you have any vids of the exhaust sound on the panda? I'm guessing it's a little loud with just the one box?

Stripped front seat and repaired bolsters with upholstery carpet glue, new foam and gorilla tape .... other half sewed up a split on one seam. Not perfect but huge difference .... seatbelt even retracts now it’s not trapped against seat. ... Abarth seats on cards after Xmas

Exhaust loud ? .... yes .... makes me laugh every time ... am too old to care

This weekend sorting cig lighter/ usb and another shot at phone mount .

Nice 100HP. I really like the color for it. Could you tell me where the yellow fogs are from? Having to buy new ones for mine anyway. I considered yellow vinyl wrap, but I would prefer yellow ones.

Thanks

It is a yellow film from eBay - original fogs

The ciggy lighter on mine works fine with a high power USB widget. The spring "ears" drop into place nicely so it's good to go.

I made a phone holder bracket using a radio removal pin/key. It puts the phone nearer (but not too close) to the steering wheel
