Hello Members, I hpoe you are able to help. My Punto model 199 1,2 petrol from 2006. Unfortunately the engine has lost all compression - timing belt is intact. anyway, as it has 275.000 km on the clock, I want to replace the engine and I have two options and hoping you can help me with clarifying if any of these Fiat engines will fin into my car. First option is a 1,4 petrol punto motor (350A1000), second option is 1,2 Petrol but newer 2011 with part no. 169A4000.

IMO it'd make more sense to replace the whole car, unless you can deal with gearbox change as well as electronics, supports, maybe different cooling specs etc. or get the EXACT same engine
