Panda 2012+ My 4x4

Introduction

Hi, i am new to the forum and owned my 2013 panda 4x4 for nearly 4 months now. after having used the forum for a while for guides etc. i thought a good idea to join up.

my panda is a 2013 0.9 petrol 4x4 with 40k on clock. Bought at auction and it needed a lot of TLC - some minor items i need to address still.
what can i say...... i love this car! i have always been a 'hot hatch' guy so this is a real change of style and pace :)

this is my car to get me to and from the train station (6 miles a day) and for fun at weekends. i have been surprised and surprised others that a 0.9 litre panda can power slide on a farm track :slayer:

i saw some pics of a few pandas that had some extra treatment which originally got me onto wanting to amend mine. so since ownership, i have installed an UpRacks roof rack system and Rigid Industries lighting as per pics.

this past weekend i actually moved the lights from the rack as the wind noise was proving annoying - i have moved to lower bumper and will get a pic.

more to come for this little beast although i am struggling to find parts that fit this little guy (this forum is helping)

thanks :D

A white 4x4 is absolutely the best way to show off some mud streaks.

How are you finding the roof rack? I'm on the fence about buying a basket style rack for longer trips, but a flat one like yours may be more aerodynamic when not loaded.

Hi, so I mentioned that I had the spot lamps fitted on the rack and moved them down to reduce noise....... First day out in the panda and the wind noise is still there but not intrusive when you have the radio on low.i have seen wind deflector that I'll be buying to trial out

I saw a few online articles about a panda in Iceland and also a video on YouTube of a panda kitted out in Austria. They both had the Italian made UpRacks system...... I loved the look but It was a very expensive option but worth every penny. My Mrs had a melt down so you know it's worth the money ?
I have had a ton strapped to the top and it's proved a worthwhile investment not only praticle but looks wicked.

With this system you can buy the basket attachments that run the edge of the rack, I didn't opt for this at time of purchase due to price and didn't feel I needed the basket style.

The rack is well built and sturdy. I would recommend to anyone! I comes with a couple eyelets to help tie down but I have used ratchet straps without issue.

If you need any more pics of actual rack let me.know and I'll send over

Here's a couple updates pics.

Attached pic of fixing of rack to running rails. There is already holes so no amendments needed.
