Bravo Meet Johnny Bravo

Introduction

Hi all,

I've been meaning to say hello and post a few pics of my 2010 Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-jet Sport for some time. I havent got around to doing it so I thought I'd at least start the thread today and add pics and fixes along the way.

So here goes. I am an EX BMW addict. Having owned a few and even a E36 328i track car (Roll cage and stripped out track ready beast.) Due to life and general issues, I got rid of the money pit BMW's and bought a 2nd hand Bravo.

In South Africa the Fiat brand has always been represented by the UNO Turbo and the Fiat 500. And a few Abarths running around. One day, I was visited by a friend of mine who had recently bought the Bravo. Never having driven one he reluctantly agreed to let me drive it. What a surprise. The little 1.4 T-jet sport is such a fantastically nippy and responsive motor. It impressed me so much that I jokingly offered to purchase the car from him for what he paid. After about a week of me nagging him he gave in and 2 weeks later the car was mine. :)

So here is Johnny. When I bought him he had 60 000 kms on the clock and not a cent to be spent. I have put on 17 000 kms in the last 12 months and the only "repairs" have been 4 new tyres and a new "wastegate/dump valve" .

Mod's done: Middle exhaust box removed and stage 1 mild software tune. Great sound and have gone up against a stock standard same year Bravo and there is a noticeable difference in performance.

Welcome to Bravo t-jet club!!
Stage 1 mild tune means-HP?

Thanks for the welcome.

When the car was dyno'd after the tune it went from 110kw Standard (manufacturers claim) up to 122kw = 163-ish BHP

I was told it could be boosted more but I really dont want to replacing turbo's and other expensive engine parts because it's being pushed too far.
