Hi, Im trying to find the reverse gear signal on my Fiat Ducato model 2006 (244) the older one. I have been searching the internet for information where I can find this signal around the area of the fuses box on the drivers side in the car, I have found out that the huge connector with 40 cables in it (the big brown connector) has the direct feed of 12v to the reverse gear switch on pin 4 and pin 6 apears to be the one that I should connect the reverse gear signal to but It seams that my reverse gear switch is broken so I cant get it to work atm, can someone confirm that I have found the correct connection spot of this signal to the reverse camera.

If it's for a camera why not just Wire Into the ignition and have it in when ever the engine is running it becomes a rear view mirror then
