Uno Scrapyard uno 45

Introduction

So I’ve recently brought a nice 49k 1988 uno 45 couldn’t see it get put on the scrap pile now could I as the story goes the car ended up in there because the elderly gentleman who previously owned it had his license took off him, honestly not too sure what the plan is with it but for now I’m tidying it up and getting back on the road

So here how she looks straight out of coming out the yard

First things first it was time to give it a good wash claybar and a good polish and wax ect

Then it was up to my dads works to have the inside cleaned and to get it on the mot ramp to see what it needs, apart from needing a slight bit of welding on the rear shocks turrets it’s quite tidy underneath

No pictures of underneath sadly
So not much done on the uno unfortunately been trying to get a new turbo on my gp so I can get it sold and trying to finish my Cinq ready for brooklands, but I have source a new uno 45 badge to replace the broken one and here’s a few pictures of the welding that needs doing now we’ve stripped the rear out IMG_0299.jpeg

@henseyseries3 is this still yours?

Given the age of the thread I thought I'd check the MOT history and see if it's still alive.

It has passed an MOT recently...but wow the fail sheet from the first one would be a pretty epic tale of welding and electrics.
I saw it forsale recently on Facebook marketplace place I was very tempted to buy it back
