He lived 100yds away from me for quite a while and I did timing for him at Kirkistown race circuit before he started racing Formula Ford.
That's my claim to fame.
I was in this car for a spin with Eddie driving, wonderful. Seeing as your a biker TC you know the adrenalin feeling after you have been for a good spin round the countryside? This is the only car that has given me that feeling. [8D]

Yeah, to be honest, that's why I love bikes, it's the cheapest way to get a buzz from a motor powered vehicle, my bike aint no Superbike, but it'll do 0-100 in around 5 seconds, I can do it from roundabout to roundabout in town, sorry, I could, not I can, it knocks on the door of 160mph and it makes my heart pound, that's what it's all about isn't it? To get the same performance and buzz in a car, you need to be spending about a £100,000 and unless I win the lottery that aint never gonna happen, so it's cars to pose, bikes to buzz!

As for Eddie, bet he don't drive an old motor like that these days!

I spose he wasnt a great F1 driver, I'm not saying he was .. I just respect him for some weird reason! The season where Schumie broke his leg and eddie went for the title was pretty amazing tho.

MMMMmm. Arrogant is Edmund's middle name.
