500 My 500 Sport 1.4

Introduction

This is my 500 Sport 1.4, I bought her with 65,000 miles and have been slowly replacing and fixing odd bits that were broken or cheap quality.
I recently replaced the original Fiat 15" dual spoke alloys for a set of wider and larger Abarth 16" alloys and have found the handling to be much better.

Car Specs:

- Model : 500 Sport
– Engine size : 1.4L 16v 100hp
- Year : 2008
– Colour : Bianco

Mods/Replacements:

-Abarth 16" Alloy wheels
-K&N Panel filter
-LED Interior light
-LED Boot light
-Abarth aluminium foot pedals
-White DRL bulbs
-Philips Xtreme Vision dipped & main beam
-Bosch AeroTwin front and rear wipers
-Front & Back Brembo OEM Brake disks and pads

Love to know what anyone thinks :)

Nice car are the Xtreme Vision headlight bulbs an improvement on the original as I've read various reports about them was thinking of fitting them to my car

Hey!

car looking great!
what the drive like? just bought a 500 sport (1.4) 2008 in yellow.
Hi!
Thanks very much!
The drive is great now, the 1.4 pulls much better past about 3500 rpm so if you want to really get going its best to keep the revs up a little. The new alloys are wider and larger than the old ones and have lower profile tyres which really reduces the roll of the car in cornering, you do sacrifice on ride comfort a little over bumpy roads tho.
Hope you enjoy it! Really fun little cars with plenty of power for some good fun :)

Hi Ian!
Thanks :)
I think they are much better, I find them to be noticeably brighter and they are a slightly whiter colour. I too read many reviews on them and there are mixed feelings about if they're any better but I found them to be perfect. A friend of mine has some Osram Night Breakers which side by side do not appear to be as bright as my Philips. :)
