Panda 2012+ Panda 85 Lounge, Grigio Argento (Metallizzato)

Introduction

Today i bought a replacement for my "total lost" Panda 403 Turquoise.
It's a Panda 85 Lounge from november 2012 with a little over 28.000 km on the clock, it has all the nice extra's.
Some changes will be done i due Time.
I will collect it in two weeks time, later more. :D
Nice thread! (y) However, I can't believe my eyes. What happened with your dislike of the TwinAir? Your alter ego Iceman swore on the Dutch 500 forum that he wouldn't drive anything with less than 4 cylinders.

Regarding the silver stripe on your steel wheels:

Why such a narrow stripe? Maybe you should go for this look:

Black/silver bi-colour steel wheels would fit your car well, I think.

Btw, i choose the small stripe only for a accent line on the edge of the rim to break down the line between black wiel and tire. ;)
Don't like the example you showed. :D

Unbelievable but it somehow still looks like you could at least ad a 5mm spacer.
Still like the look of fhose wheels a lot.

Last year on my Turquoise Panda with the 225/40R16" tires on, it looked much better imho. ;)

At this point i do not come close to the plans i had for this Panda. :D

Had so many plans, but decided otherwise.

Just some small functional changes so far. ;)

Give us your plans. Please.
I’ve started with the Tinted windows and center caps.
What’s else could I customize.

Tell me your ideas.
Engine also, is the 1.3 Mjet with the 95 horses. And disappointingly the DPF.

Plans ware:

Hybrid turbo.
WMI injection.
ECU remap.
Custom made Coilover kit.
Black 7x17 ET30 OZ Racing Leggenda wheels.
New Front seats.
Rear seat removal.
B-pillar back Roll-cage.

Plans i did are:

Novitec Lowering spring.
Wheel tire adjustment.

Besides that the car is standard.

I’m definitely going to remap the ECU, although the car is going very well with the 95hp.
I hope to get more power at the low revs, where the engine feels lazy.

Basically I don’t want to upgrade big, like suspensions and cages.
Little, looking touch ups are what I look for.

For example cross lights are a very nice idea. I would mind some Xenon lights for the front also.

Suspension wise i only change the springs, just 35mm lower to the ground.

Tomorrow i will take the 16" Bravo LM wheels of the Panda.
After 2 weeks driving with them i decided it's time to change them for something else.
They weigh 18 Kg (wheel+tire) and destroy the driving fun of the car.
Most people will not notice the effect of heavy weight wheels on a small light car, but i do.
The wheels will be sold ASAP.
I also have a set 15" LM Barchetta wheels, but they also weigh still 15.5 Kg with tire.
I will move to a solution that weigh below 15 Kg. :D

Doing some research on weight of wheels to compare to my new tec wheels I wonder where you get your weight and measurements from.
While I was looking for the weight of a stock 15" wheel the weight of the steel Bar hetta wheels came up in a thread and they are neigh on 10kg a wheel(confirmed by a couple of members) if I look for the weight of an average winter tire you come in at at least 8,5 kg for a tire making the combo at least 18,5 kg without wheel wheel weights, valve and air so I'm guessing your wheel weights are a bit on the positive side. A solution under 15kg looks like something that can only be achieved whith rims that are lighter then 5kg wich seems almost imposible.

https://www.fiatforum.com/barchetta/140814-weights-15-original-steel-rims-2.html

The Tec Wheels should weigh in at 10,4 kg for my dimension and the average 17" tire weight is around 10kg so the combination should be about 20,5kg per wheel.
I've ordered a digital scale from wich you can hang weights up to 50kg so I can compare the weights of the wheels with and without tires and compared to the stock 15" alloys and the 16" O.Z. 35th Anniversary's.

I just put them on a scale. ;)
