Punto (Mk1) My punto gt3

I’m not sure what colour they used , the powder coat firm who did them for me couldn’t get the colour I wanted so had to go for something similar which if I’m honest isn’t right , it’s a bit too light [emoji849]. Some of the guys from the GT owners say a colour that is as close as you can get is ford levante grey .

surely you could take a factory wheel in a decent paint suppliers and they would colour match.. then it'd just be matter of getting the right amount of metallic in it.

yeah I think that’s the way to go , I would have to borrow a wheel though as the other set I bought were silver off a sporting .

I got a few spares in genuine colour.

Perhaps this can be my little project and get us a colour code.

Had the gt out today for a run before it goes away at the end of the month , while I was out I passed a gold R reg punto gt I’ve not seen before first gt I’ve seen in ages , I didn’t have time to stop & have a look so I passed a little later and it had gone [emoji849]

Last run out today as she’s going away till next year [emoji30],
Hope to get to some more shows next year [emoji1303]

I’ve picked up some spares for the gt , a pair of new fog lights , mine are a little pitted and a nearly new stereo that has a case for the pop off buttons .

bought a job lot of air filters for £12 , should last me another 20 years [emoji23]

That's the way to do it, I was just starting to think like that too get the bits while you can cos soon they will be extinct anything I remove off my car from now as long as I can recondition it I will and store it away for the future

That’s a lovely looking car I’m a bit of a hoarder as well any bits I find for one of my cars I get you can’t have to manly bits as you never nowhen you will need it

I’m itching to get the gt out of the garage this year but will the typical weather (snow, rain , sleet , hail ) ever stop [emoji849][emoji849]

Lol mines been on the road since I got it drive it at least once a week don't think I could leave it in the garage all the time I drive it in rain sun don't make a difference to me ?

Get it out the garage u no u want to lol, quick question do u have classic insurance I pay way too much I'm at £385 for last year but this year gonna be looking more like £450-500 i don't no any good classic car insurance. And don't really Wana pay £500 for a car I drive once a week ?

You don't have any parts for the air filter box do you, I'm sure you wouldn't get rid of them even if you did ??

I’m insured with Lancaster, it’s around £260 with limited mileage and an agreed value , most insurance company’s will only give the book value for it which will be nothing [emoji849].
The air box brackets are as rare as hens teeth , I don’t have any spare ones , you’ll be lucky if any comes up for sale and I asked at the fiat dealer but they are discontinued like a lot of the parts now .
My gt is a sunny day car I’m afraid, it would take me too long to clean it [emoji23]

edit: the insurance is £160 , pressed wrong digit .

Had the first run out this year In the GT today as the sun was out [emoji1303] .... then it decided to snow [emoji849][emoji943][emoji943]
