Punto (Mk2/2b) 5dr abarth punto

Introduction

So just coming back from getting my mother new car finally got her into a fiat and out of her clio that's now got a numerous ammont of electronical faults

Anyway on to the punto so it's a 5dr punto with an abarth kit not sure if it came out the factory like it or someone put the kit on also the wheels are something I haven't seen before honestly I'm not too clued up with punto specs and opinional extra
I'm more into my centos but it's nice needs some work but what fiat don't

Not an HGT.

The give away is the black wing mirrors (not colour coded) the plastic head rests with the holes in them and the 5 doors.

This was an optional extra on the mk2 model to leave the factory with the HGT bumpers (which are different for the 5 door model) and the wheels are also a optional extra with abarth logos in the middle

was there a 5 door hgt ever made by fiat?

So stayed over at work for a few hours to give my dad a hand sorting the little bits and bobs out changed the seats to some hgt seats done an engine service tomorrow doing the cambelt as it's not running right and with how lose the cambelt is it may have slipped a few teeth causing running issues and throwing the cam timing out in turn throwing up a cam sensor code

Smd converted cluster in and a few other bits ready too go in factory sub and rear speakers just need the pin out for the sub if anyone can point me in the right direction of getting thay info?

Right long story short I needed a car while my sei was off the road having stuff done engine change ect and mom wasn't really into the so I offered to buy it off her so fast foward to a week before brooklands I'm rushing around doing bits I need to do getting all the audio in found another set off wheels so I could make a mint set off right size tyres on her I'm not running both subs I've got to get around to swapping the subs them self as the fli one has had a **** repair

So brooklands was amazing car drove down from birmingham perfect couldn't fault it But then leaving it decided to be a right knob and cut out just around the corner from brooklands wouldn't run it would run then die or just not start so cheers dom (not sure what your user is bud) and jatkinson for stopping off seeing if I was okay so anyway left it to cool down and drove back to the hotel and home I'm going towards crack sensor fault

So I need to get my ass into gear get the engine out the sei so I can pitch the head with 866 cam to swap with the one on the punto that has very leaky valve stems change cam sensor sort out the exhaust knocking off the rear beam and general Tidy up the body work

so took the punto to forza live its ran mint now ive changed the crank sensor had change off heart and decided once the insurance is up in march shes going to be up for gabs hopefully ill get around to sorting some of the bits that need doing but with trying to build both my landrover and sei im not going to get around to it shes a good reliable daily atm so going off that logic if its not broke don't mess with it only problems are really the leaky valve stems and ive noticed a small crack along one of the runners on the exhaust manifold its a small pin hole but like with most cracks its only going to get worse :ROFLMAO:.

I do have a spare mani cat and a spare head so at some point if i ever get chance get the head skimmed and have valve stems put in at the same time and swap the cats over
