Panda Baymax the 100hp

Introduction

Hi All,

Me back again with another car! This is now my 3rd Panda but this time its one from this centuary!

Not sure what to do with the car, I'm tempted to get the roof/spoiler to wrap in black and replace the exhaust system as the backbox is through the first skin. Paint has been touched up and the wheels all referbed so its a nice base to start with.

(Sorry for the bad pictures, they were taken in dim lighting, will get some proper ones at some pount (y))

I've been waiting for someone to fit a 500 Monza on a Panda! :D

Do you reckon the twin pipes will fit through the bumper? (I'm assuming you've already measured up haha)

I have been thinking about it and might have to do some cutting and welding or bending of the pipes to fit properly. When I do it I'm gonna do it right.

The mid pipe should be straightforward, the backbox will be a pain to fit I reckon.

Yup. Gonna go take a look at Dez's 100hp as he got the normal Abarth one mounted on his. He's got a proper hanger on the drivers side so gonna try and do it as OEM as I can.

Exhaust might need bending or cut and welding but thankfully it's mild steel and not stainless so shouldn't be too bad.

Not much of an update, havn't got round to fitting the exhaust yet but have bought some new wiper blades. Bosch AeroTwin 22" (AR22U) and Bosch Aero Twin 16" (AR16U) (if anyone needs to know for future!).

Does anyone know of a replacement for the rear wiper? Or is it just a refil jobbie?

Get it taken off! :D It makes the rear end so much tidier. If you can live with regularly cleaning your rear screen then I'd really recommend removing it

It does look good but I like rear visibility on a spay filled motorway

TBH I did take off my old Punto one. Might just consider doing it tbh.

(y) Its a easy enough job to do. You can always fit it back on if you can't live without! :)

Yeah you are right there Leeski. The 100hp Pandas are particularly bad for rear end spray too I think.
I find plenty of rain-x and regular cleaning does the job :)

I've never had much luck with rain-x on the rear, though all my other windows are treated with it and I love it.

So I bought this off John recently. It's currently just sat on the drive awaiting the sale of our 500 so we can just swap the insurance over. Will start a proper thread at some point but thought I'd post here just so people know.
