Punto Evo kidpunto's White Punto Evo Sporting

Introduction

Previously Owned a 1.2 Grande Punto and wanted the next step up. It had to be something with style, speed and elegance. Refused to have the common sheep vehicles like a fiesta or corsa and couldn't set on a french car or owning another yaris. But the answer lied with a Punto Evo sporting, Yes Yes! :yum:

Currently had the Sporting for one month and has occupied a lot of my time in small subtile mods that don't break the bank but has allowed it to be unique. Aiming for a two tone colour scheme Black on white.

Mine was £440, straight pipe and twin tip back box, stainless steel. They are quiet good definitely much better than standard bulbs but expensive! The BMC panel is less restrictive than the standard filter allowing more air to be drawn through, it gives a slightly louder induction sound and makes the turbo and blow off more noticeable. It'll add 5BHP maximum. But it's nothing too noticeable.

NOICE!!!!!

Did it add more to your insurance premium? So want to do all of the above but won't be for awhile. Can only afford the cheap mods

Received my Corsa D Sport Alloy Pedals, should get them installed today at some point ;)

This years premium didn't get altered after declaring I think next year it goes up by an extra £20 but I'll be 21 by then, I think that I was quoted £540 for next year.

Well it may be today, if not can do tomorrow as well, unlike some I have to work bank holidays :p

:D:D:D

Can't Wait!

Here is something to look at while your working though :D Painted callipers black on Saturday. Hard to get a good photo showcasing them as my camera isnt the greatest + the allows doesn't allow a lot of light through.

You can sorta see the grey calliper

Wheels off with rusty brake discs

Wheel back on (you can barely see the calllipers lol

Use a heat gun or hairdryer and dental floss, heat the badge up and then use the dental floss to cut behind the badges through the adhesive, you might want some adhesive remover but be careful because you don't want anything that will effect the paintwork, I used break cleaner on mine

Can I ask how did you remove the front chrome bar? I want to plastidip it and also replace my front badge (badly worn) but haven't a clue on how it comes off.

Hi buddy, did you still need to know how to do so?

I haven't checked the forum in ages, sorry about that! If needed, there was a tutorial on how to do so somewhere on this forum. I will try and find it for you
