Punto (Mk2/2b) A black three-door Punto active

Introduction

Hello,
I have been reading the forums for a while and thought it was about time I showed my hand. I have a 2003 Mk2 Punto in metallic black. It is a 1.2 8v (the most common?) which has done a mere 24k miles and I've made only two modifications:

Exterior:
Alloys from a scrapyard donor Punto

Interior:
Pioneer DEH-X6600 DAB head unit & windscreen-mounted aerial

It's a decent low-mileage example of its type and I only really intend to look after it and (one day) do some slight rear-window and rear windscreen tints. That is unless anyone has some great ideas I hadn't thought of!
I do like the look of the Mk2b rear light clusters with the boot reflectors, but don't particularly want to have a 'half and half' car. I could be convinced to do sound-proofing, better speakers and better tyres!

Cheers,
James
Looking great there, mate. I'm always surprised how a new set of alloys and another colour transform the punto from boring (mine) to interesting and good-lloking (yours). A really sporty looking car you have there.

Cheers everyone for the compliments!
At 24k you're right it it is pretty new: I was fortunate that it had had only one careful (elderly) owner. It's the 8v version, Mk2Bravo, but weighing not much more than a roller skate it can really shift off the line.
Bodo, spot on I think a good clean and some shiny alloys are the biggest single upgrade, visually speaking! I got these for £150 from a scrapyard, so keep your eyes open.

Tempted to cc handles and mirrors in the summer, as suggested. Some people remove the side strips, I've seen, but for me I don't think it looks better enough to take the risk in the car park.
