I replaced the front two where the wishbone triangle is, they are the ones accessible through one of the holes in the wishbone. visible here number 11 https://fiat.7zap.com/en/tem/nz/1594...+44301s00+3-0/
The steering is back to how it should be, precise, and predicable. Before, i had slop in cornering, slow turn in, and it squirreled a little during even light braking over bumpy or uneven surfaces, also, going over bumps in country lanes at 90kmph would resonate the whole front end, during hard turns it would also knock a little. Now, the amount it judders over consectutive bumps is reduced, the turn in is immediate, and the whole front feels tighter.
All is not 100%, i still have work to do, but it's amazing the difference that 1 missing bolt can make!

Hi.
I need a rear brake cylinder for the 110 weekend. Parts sites seem to hint that its NOT the same as saloons and petrols...

Dont suppose youve had to change one??

Hiya,
Parts sites are notorious for getting things wrong, they tend to list all available options, and leave the buyer to do the research, and be informed before buying. My 110 has drum brakes, and the pistons looked like they always do, double ended for both pleasure, err, pads......

As far as i know, all 1.9l diesel models, shared all the same drive train, suspension and brake parts, i have no idea of petrol or saloon models though.

ePER seemed to suggest later 110's had alloy brake housings..

mine is definitely iron / steel = 18 years of RUST

other issue seems to be if it's a BENDIX system - or other..

I'm going to see what bits I've got in stock.. then maybe have to make a punt..

mine are rusty too, i have no idea of what the OEM system was, when i changed my pas recently, the inside was seriously rusty and there was no way of telling if it was original or not.

Final update.
The car is still in good nick, i have been pootling to and from work without hiccup since owning the car, a seriously good runner.
My Dad wanted rid of his 2007 passat estate, as it was costing him best part of a grand a year just in insurance (city centre manchester), and since he has retired, he does everything on the bus and train. long story short, i got the VW.
Same week i went to pick the car up, a young lad who is doing some labouring for the firm, managed to park his car on a hill, and forgot to put on the handbrake, his car rolled down the hill into a wall.
long story short, I gave him the Marea.
I'll probably end up doing the cam belt for him soon, as it's been 100km since the last one when i got the car. I have a few little bits which might be of use to some, which i will evenually get round to posting on the adverts section, most notably a front subframe, and 4 snow tyres.

Hi,

Is there any manual for the Fiat Marea 1.9 jtd, 81 kw, 2002.
Does anyone know where this model has a central lock, a central locking relay and a fuse for it
