Here's what it would look like. The reason it wouldn't be fitted lower down (like the K&N induction kits), is to protect it from water spray on the road while driving. The last thing you want is water in the engine!

The airbox has been left in, without the airfilter, to provide a "ram effect" to force more air in to the induction kit.

Mmm... I like! (y) What kind of service does he provide? Do I send him my cover, he paints it and sends it back? I presume you stuck the badges on yourself?

Just PM him and make arrangements...he lives in hertfordshire, so most go round and wait...he's a top bloke and does a great job.

The badges were just left over from my debadging and the red fiat part was just done with a brush. have a look in Stilo Styling at the how to fit skirts/spoiler threads to see his work on my car.

Some small Abarth badges... Does that mean I'm a fraud now...

Lol @ Stuart DemonD!

As for some more mods, it definately needs a rear spoiler. Gets a bit skittish at high speed. I've also seen at least 1 1.6 turbo mentioned(probably on here), gonna seriously spend some time looking in to that! :D

Well does make you more of a wannabe rather than a fraud, not sure which ones better! Nice looking car overall though, i like the idea of the piper cross induction kit.........tis very interesting!

Couldn't afford the Abarth at the time but I'm not willing to split with the 1.6 now! :D If you're interested in the induction kit, have a look HERE . ;)

You've got it in one! The demand for modding the Stilo just isn't high enough. Lets face it, compared the other hatchbacks, there's hardly any Stilo's on the road! Let alone there being alot of people who want to mod them! Shame really, I know it has it's little niggles but overall, it's a good car. They may one day decide that they will start making them but as of yet, they have no plans. :(

I quite like it being an uncommonly modded car, it means that when you do go to the effort of modding it, it looks even more unique!

The ICC/Merkur spoiler your looking at, not sure on that, i did quite fancy that for mine, but have gone off it since, im now rather tempted by the MS Design spoiler

I know which one it is, just googled it! I like that one too but I'm looking for one thats funtional as well as having good looks...

Very nice Stilo mate (y) Not too keen on all the Abarth badges/logos' all over it though. I have an Abarth and I wouldn't want them. They seem to take your eye away from the car itself IYKWIM. IMO dark colour stilos' look better with less badges on, not more. But thats just my opinion.

All over it? There's only 2 badges and a rear window shield! :p No offence taken! (y) I think it breaks the colour up a bit. There's a black 5dr just up the road from me without any badges on except for the one on the grille and boot and it looks boring. At least there's no logos down the door.... :p
