Re: Olivia - Maranello Rosso Tjet Sport

So here's my first mod.
It was a 20 job while on a study break
All I used was some electric tape and I'm happy in how it turned out

First did the top grill:

Then decided to the bottom one as well:

Not quite sure about the bottom grille, but I think it will grow on me :)

More Mods to come!

Finally we get to see Olivia,
I like the italian flag dude looks cool and cheap as chips.

Looks nice and clean most 11 plates over here are the MultiAir units. Prefer the tjet myself when you hear of some of the problems the Mito/guilietta owners have

Well I just got the car and there's already problems that have shown up(n)
Previous driver must've been a woman considering when cleaning the interior i found a lot of glitter and the fact that the clutch was replaced previously and also I'm gonna have to replace it again....:(

Nice car :) im a t-jet bravo owner myself :) what mods are you going to be doing to her

So I've been off the forum for awhile, been busy and the car had it's fair amount of time in the workshop.
For a good 2 months it confused mechanics as to why my Clutch Slave cylinder always kept failing and pushing the clutch too far. A visit from the best Fiat Dealer in the country pointed out the problem and a DIY mount was made to keep the slave cylinder in place instead of pushing out too far or something like that.

Updates on the car:

  • 57mm Powerflow Stainless Steel Exhaust (Downpipe, Decat and no boxes whatsoever)
  • Sound Sytem Done
    Pioneer AVH-X2650BT Head Unit
    Audiobank 2800W Monoblock
    2 Pioneer TS-W310S4 12" 1400W SVC Subwoofers
  • A set of Pirelli PZeros

Originally I thought I had a boost leak after I horribly lost to a Golf TSi (the one with 92kW or something like that) and the boost gauge on the dash never went to full, so I started asking other guys with Bravos if this was normal. Turns out it wasn't. After some searching on here I found the problem to be the pipes leading to the Wastegate Solenoid to be incorrectly fitted. Swopped them around and my Bravo has never been this fast since I purchased it.

Here's another video of what my exhaust sounds like:

Here's also some pics of the car

So it's been awhile since any new mods mostly cause I had to plan way in advance for them to fit in my busy schedule.

So firstly I've fitted a BMC Cone Filter. I wanted something a bit more performance based for better throttle response and thanks to Fiat's engineers I need not to worry about heat soak from the engine based on the location of the original box. It took me about 3 months to get the box fitted along with it because I had to do lots of slicing and dicing to get the new filter to fit. I just love the loud sucking sounds as the turbo spools and I've had many people asking if I have a BOV because of the sound it makes as I come off the throttle.

Next mod I did was a Xenon Kit. Very simple mod which had payed off in the end.

I was never really keen on them because I just thought it wouldn't suit the Maranello Red paint because the Halogen Yellow made the car seem classier. But I instead threw caution to the wind and decided to get Xenon's because getting a set of Philips DiamondVision was the same price as a Chinese Xenon Kit. I got a H1 and 8000k set and it looks a tad blue, but the light emitted is spectacular and is worth the money. And it actually half suits the Maranello Red (y)

The very next thing I did was probably the most difficult mod I've done on the car so far. I decided to revamp the interior lighting (and it's still not 100% complete)

First I changed all the festoon courtesy lights to LED ones
Then replaced the night time orange/red LEDs that used to shine on the gear knob/handbrake area to UV LEDs (quite a challenge)
Then lastly I changed all the orange LEDs to white ones. I still have to put up a guide cause I know lots of people were interested on how to do this and that will be done soon.
I still haven't managed to change the steering wheel controls to white, but otherwise it looks amazing :D

The newest update to the car is the decals. I decided I finally wanted to make the car different and stand out a bit. Nothing quite like putting on Abarth Decals. Actually looks a lot better than I expected. Next step is to get me some Abarth Badges!
