Bravo Maserati Blue 150 T-jet

Introduction

Hey guys I finally got time to make a thread for my new Bravo which I've owned a couple of weeks. For many of you might of seen my modified orange Grande (Which I sorely miss :( )

The reason a choose a Bravo was really because I wanted a low mileage car plus I had the Punto nearly 5 years & also wanted to stay in the italian fold. Anyway heres some pics :) I will get some better ones with my Dslr when I get off holiday.

I've already added some Team Heko wind deflectors & Bonalume DV.

Also some Mtec Super White dipped bulbs & canbus led sidelights which I will get a pic at a later date.

Hope you lot like :)
A nice dump valve does the trick normally. That big whooshing "TSHHHHHH" noice normally deters most idiots! That's what I find and my cars only running 145-ish

But should they still attempt it, I tend to beat most things.

Haha didn't stop people in the punto. Anyway I will be to far gone before they hear the sound haha

HIDs are great. Plug and play. Passenger side is fiddly as **** though. Unless you have baby hands. I had to remove the washer bottle neck completely in order to do mine and it was still very tight. But I did it and it was 100% worth it. i fit the balasts to a little cross frame that sits just behind the lights. You can't miss it. Many of us are using 6000k Hawx kits as recommends by swift originaly.

Before and after

Bright :)

Here's how I cut the rubber grommet instead of drilling it

Ballasts on that a frame

This is the kit we all use

Looks cheap too, sorry. The DRL I mean...If I go for one of these, I'll replace the whole headlight with a Dectane one.
Compared to a dectane one these are cheap. About £25 all in if I remember. Where as the dectane lights start at £300. I like it so don't really care if it is or looks cheap!

Also I'm pretty sure the Dectane lights are left hand drove only as the beam pattern points the wrong way. in order to pass uk MOT's they need to point left and down slightly and so are illegal with out those horrible beam bending stickers.

Bravo is beautiful!
But that DLR-a looks cheap indeed.

I also was thinking of making dlr-s, and one idea was: while dismantling headlight for coloring that silver plastic in black, replace original lens with bixenon lens, and instead of high beam, install led light with lens like this, with out that metal housing:

Of course, this mot requires second pair of unmodified headlights for MOT pass

Second idea is to use high beam for dlr-that requres instaling of DC-DC step down module for dimming bulb intensity.

This modification is cheapest and can be easily return in original condition

Or dimming this:
