Seicento White Seicento from Slovenia

Introduction

Seicento CUP

Hi to all, it`s been a year ago since I bought myself a second car for trackdays.
Since I wanted a small car the Seicento was a great choice. In Slovenia we had in 1999 - 2001 a Seicento CUP so this cars are every now and then for sale. The Seicentos are already a little bit modified and some of them also road legal.

Ok enough with talking let the pictures do the rest.

Specifications

The list of things to do or to modify is long. But some of them are already done and crossed of the list.

First thing were the wheels. I had them powder coated in graphite black color.

The next thing was air filter, because the old one was fitted directly on the TB. I bought the Dexcraft filter system from Poland.

Since there is no water temperature gauge in the Seicento and I also wanted the oil temperature and pressure gauge I instaled tehm on the central console.

Yes the wheels are 13" from ATS (6J/20ET 4x100) made for GM cars I believe you could find them on Vauxhall Chevette / Opel Kadett Coupé GT/E. It was quite a problem to fit them because the center hole was smaller then the Seicento so we had to grind the center hole. In the front I use 1cm of spacer and on the back they are straight bolt on.

The gauges were bought on ebay with carbon look pod. I knew it from the start that I must change them. So I made a custom gauge pod with Italian words for pressure and temperature to get the original look as close as I can get.

Here you can see the look of gauges when they were bought

And a new look

The prices variates from car to car mine was round 1800 EUR someone is selling it for 2900 EUR. The standard Seicentos are from 500 EUR and on.

I don't have a lot of interior picture because nothing was modified since I bought the car.

Since the air filter was relocated we need to move the oil catch tank.
Before the oil catch tank was this big plastic container and the filter was directly mounted on TB.

It was changed with smaller one and also the hoses were changed with yellow silicone ones.

am i seeing the oil breather going to the can and then from there to the gearbox breather  And if so does that not mean the gearbox is being pressurized and doesn't have a breather..... Or is it just venting from the can to atmosphere from both.. In any case i don't understand why the pipe is going to the gearbox.

edit: loving the car though, always had a soft spot for white cento's. And them wheels!! Love them!!

This kind of set up was already done with the old can. The hoses are just venting the engine and gearbox you can see the third hose going to the wheel arch this is done for not pressurising the can.

One more from the wheels when they were ready to instal.

The next thing to do was changing the radiator I was beaten up but no over heating problems. I already done a auto solo curse with this radiator and no problems with cooling.

And few pictures from the auto solo when the radiator was still the old one.

All this things were changed and modified from last year till today with this pictures the car is up to date. :)

A few weeks ago I went to a timeattack event and noticed that the chassis needs to be more stiff. The rear antiroll bar will be mounted and the front one will be changed with bigger one. Hope this will help for a start.

Which kind of bar or from which car do you usually use for rear anti roll bar. And what is the easiest solution for the front. Will changing the bushes and keeping the original bar be ok in the combination with added rear bar. The front one is 19 mm thick? Thanks for your help.

Tow straps were mounted on the car.
