Nice lights!

Where did you mount the ballast boxes? Any difficult fixing required with terminals? Or is it just plug and go? Take it you did not trigger any fault code's with this new light kit either?

Cheers dude right with regards to hid there's not many Bravos on this forum without them lol they all brought these ones

Well that's good news's no error code! I tried changing my standard number plate bulbs with LED ones there are meant to be error free, but not on Bravo it appears a little too sensitive! Put normal bulbs in for time being code free, I might have some luck later with them or others?

On the subject of Xenon bulb conversion kits that extra brightness and look is very appealing, I'm trying to get my head around what certain conversion kits do?

Are they two ballasts for each head light for high and dipped beams or are these kits all in-cooperated with both?

And what about fog lights if I wanted them converted to Xenon would it be a another separate kit for them?

And I take it the 'k' value is the colour of the bulb being more red or more blue?

Sorry about all the questions!

I cant help myself asking as this is new to me!

If you don't ask you will never know dude,
Right the main beam is single ballast its all plug and play, I have yet to do my full beam as I never use them,
With regards to fogs also I never use them and I have the option to turn them of when corning or parking,

What you need for number plate lights is canbus cancellers these come in a pair and you plug them into the where the bulb goes and the bulb then goes into the other end.6k is the power output higher the more blue it gets I think

Thanks Swift! On the can-bus thing! Was reading somewhere a guy put in 55 watt Xeon bulbs in the fogs and the lower 35 watts in he's dipped head lights, not on a Bravo though! Surely if your travelling in fog it's just going to reflect back worse with a brighter bulb, unless the guy was using them for fog free days as normal head lights?

Also heard some cars cant take the whole 55 watt versions, because of the heat they produce also! I'm learding slowly!

I just wanted to ask again with the xenon conversion kit you got for your low beams did you have to get the can bus canceler with it? I looked at the listing it can be added if wanted? I assuming you didn't? And no fault codes like you said! This kit will work on it's own with no fault issues then on a Bravo? Just to be extra clear! Or am I missing any parts?

Just buy kit and fit dude no errors all good

Take it your stiffening the suspension up then?

I was thinking about getting one of these fancy Licence plate holders especially for the back one it keeps falling off where the dealer stuck the plate on with double sided tape, sawn of the dealers web site emblem at the bottom of the plate and re-stuck plate temporally! Thought you might have a few ideas on styling, not sure about silver chrome on back as far too blingy, for me, but shinny black or that carbon fibre effect would look ok, I think? Fronts stuck on too!

Hope the pot holes and speed bumps are kind to you?
wink.gif
Shame you cant have self adjustable ride height with hydraulics would that be even a step too far even for you I imagine and costly!

Finally got those HID's in! Just getting dark as well! No one told me about the left headlight being so tight with work space, right side is so much easier! Must of stood there for a good 30 minutes trying to get the bulb retaining clip to align and click into place, though all done apart from some cosmetic fixing of the ballast boxes, nice and bright!
