Over the Dynamic (at the time mine was made,) the Eleganza had Blue&Me, dual zone automatic climate control rather than a manual heater and aircon, electric lumbar adjustment, plusher seats, and rear parking sensors, all as standard.
Nice motor you have, like the eleganza alloys!

Well, on Monday my car got written off.
Some arsehole was on his phone, and drover into the central barriers, and my car caught the barriers. The damage wasn’t substantial, but it has caused structural damage and being a 08, it’s game over.
Now the on going insurance battle, and personal injury. My partner, and 2 kids, were in the car at the time. It’s caused a lot of trauma for us all.. but I really just miss my wee Eleganza, and it’s kindda put me off now.
Horrible, stuck in limbo, sort of feeling.
RIP Eleganza with under 60k.

Hope your injuries were minimal and are quick to heal, the mental side of things can take a lot longer to shake off.
Glad you’re here to make the post. Wish you well in getting better. It will take time as mentioned but don’t lose faith in that process as slow as it may or may not be. And remember you’re there for your family they’ll need you too to heal.
Your Punto has many cousins that I’m sure you can get to step in for your old one which fell in battle. Hope insurance doesn’t give you any hassle.

Thanks guys, and sorry to hijack this thread lol. Just totally sucks that this all happened. It leaves me wondering if I want another Punto now. Ideally I'd love a Tipo but you know, money..

My god! I'm sorry to hear that! As sad as it is about the car, I'm just glad you guys are ok!
See how the insurance goes and take a think about it. Don’t put yourself under any unnecessary financial pressure or finance if you’re not 110% comfortable about it!

Following the sudden death of her ZR160, my gf has bought... a Punto Evo! Hopefully, it'll last her a few years, even with her colossal annual mileage, whilst saving her a small fortune on fuel!

The end of another year, and I'm still lucky enough to have this. Still gets driven every day, and the poor thing got used as a van when I was moving out! Hopefully it has a few years left in it yet.
