Punto (Mk2/2b) My Punto MK2b

Introduction

Hi everyone,
Its not the first time I've showed off a new Fiat on this forum! I used to have a poor little '99 Seicento Sporting Abarth but its was pretty toast.. So now I've got a new baby, its newer and bigger...
A MK2b '03 Punto Active Sport 1.2 8v.. I've driven it once so far and I'm already hooked.. just can't get enough of these little Italian cars!

Regards,
Rhys
I'm looking to start styling mine too mate. I started off with a badgeless grill (bodykit.co.uk) now looking to get either lowering springs or coilovers.

Not entirely sure which tho.

Overall the car is pretty good looking anyways when it has the sports bumpers and sideskirts.

Like the colour of yours mate.

Thanks man :) the colour and condition of the bodywork and alloys were what attracted me to buy the car in the first place.. I'm more likely to go down the subtle customisation route. I'd like to keep my Punto as standard as possible, so it'll just be little changes here and there. I've been thinking about changing the old blue Fiat badges for the new red ones and maybe getting xenon headlights.
Other than that I'd like to keep the ride height as standard and try not to do any customisations that effect my insurance.. It's bad enough how it is haha!

Cheers for your advice :)
Rhys

Not gunna lie man.. I'm loving the look of your Punto too, looks nice in red ;)

I just bought an mk2b in black but not the sporting version the current customisations i made at moment are only purchasing sporting alloys, any idea on where i could get a blue gear knob and gaiter from along with hand brake gaiter in blue? Also i would like to know what lights i should put in like the bluey ones?
Any help would be very much appreciated and where did you get your caps from?

A lass I'm pretty much seeing has one of these cars in the same colour and I've got to admit, they do look real nice! Real eye catcher for me, the colour makes the whole car. Liking the Dustcaps too :)!

Thanks man :) the colour was definetly one of the main reasons I brought the car (aswell as a good running engine and clean bodywork but you catch the drift). I'm just working on subtle cosmetic changes here and there that's all :)

Thanks
Rhys

If I was to suggest subtle mods for you, I'd for for debadging the sides and ripping the side trims off :). Can be a massive pain to get all the Glue off but it made my Punto look 10x better, a real nice clean look it is :). I tint sprayed my side indicator lenses too which looks decent.

someone did this recently on a 2B result was when trims removed it took paint
with it.

yes
some of the punto mk2b's in this blue come with a lacquered finish rather than just solid blue and if trying to debadge you may well pull some lacquer off
its realhard to tell if its laquered too so if unsure try a bit of tcut,if blue goes on your cloth then its NOT lacquered
