Re: Fiat Punto "Ferrari" Demo Build

One subwoofer broken AGAIN so I tested SPL score without it, just a mighty hole

I had this bluetooth stereo in my garage sound system but friend bought it for his car. So I bought a new one, here's a video

Upgraded the alternators. Older 105A ones were from Fiat Stilo and these new 120A from Fiat 500

Started fixing the old tailgate, it was a mess

21Hz flex

A bit progress with reinforced hatch:

Now I'm reinforcing doors

Tailgate won't be holding the pressure for long

Re: Fiat Punto "Ferrari" Demo Build

Bought Colombo Bariani performance camshaft, Fast Road Max 280 Degrees. Powerband is now higher but still driveable, best power +4000rpm. Feels like average 16v 100hp car. Much faster than before, at least 1s faster 0-60mph. 10s 0-60mph might be doable with less weight

Continued reinforcing doors, still some work to do

I fancy getting a few voltmeters for battery, body computer and crank sensor? output and maybe some other outputs. You can get a very small voltmeter from banggood.com for 3.80

https://www.banggood.com/0_28-Inch-2...r_warehouse=UK

With the cold weather and snow it would be nice to have an aircraft type display of various vital functions which you can keep an eye on.

Can we do that already with OBD2 and available software?

Yes you can buy obd2 hud display, like this one:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-5-Univers...y/372074362394

Now I have V-Checker A501. I can clear error codes etc, very handy

Interesting but something that is more customisable and useable during the day would be better.

These new hud displays are visible even in direct sunlight, with some you have to use a clear film on windshield.

Re: Fiat Punto "Ferrari" Demo Build

I'm upgrading the doors after 3 years. Replaced GZ 8" coaxials with another pair of GZ 10" midranges. Had to change the tweeters also.

Working on the subwoofer box

Finally had time to test the difference between "866" (punto 75 mk1) and Colombo & Bariani fast road max camshaft. Here's the video

Feels like my mk2b ecu is slowing me down. My old one was starting to have issues and newer one was only available at that time. Hard to say for sure
