Grande Punto Mjet 1.9 Sporting

Introduction

Decided to create a members motors thread for my 09 plate 1.9 MJet sporting in grey. Had the car since about 9k mile i think it was and had the usual top mounts needing changing and a split turbo pipe but other than that has been quite good to me. The car has dual climate control and the lumbar package (electronic lumbar adjust on drivers seat and arm rest), but apart from that is completely standard at the minute, but would love to do the following to it;

  • Window tints, rear is already factory tinted
  • New speakers all round
  • Black interior pillars
  • Black roof lining
  • New alloys
  • Lowering springs or coilovers set to their highest because of the lovely speed bumps and pot holes around here.
  • Black or badgeless grill
  • Abarth fronts (possibly)
  • Under body and strut braces
  • Exhaust system
  • Remap
Just having its first full service, cam belt ect. after having 2 new front tyres (Khumo KU39's) and EBC Ulimax pads all round. After this hopefully people will stop using my car to stop their doors in car parks so I can spend money on it for good reasons.

Some old pictures from summer.

No could be anyone to answer. I just know he has them too.
The prices for these little bits of plastic is a joke. I don't wanna fork out £60+ for 4 plastic covers that I can't get off or that may fly off haha.
Will have my wheel off again at weekend when it gets a clean and see if I can get them off without scratching or breaking anything.

SJB1985 you mind me asking how much you paid to have yours colour coded?

I paid £20 to have them done :)

I've wanted to get some grey inner sporting headlight for a while but was hoping someone could tell me which ones I need. S1 or S2. This is what the connector from the back of the head light looks like. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Didn't realise I hadn't posted here for so long. Little update about the lovely M32 gearbox in our cars.
As with many people my car has been whining for rather a long time now in most gears. I decided last month enough was enough and tried to get some quotes to get it repaired.
I found what has turned out to be a top bloke who offered an M32 gearbox repair service over in Halifax, who I couldn't recommend highly enough. He specialises in repairing VXR's usually but obviously we share the same M32 box. His prices were a million times cheaper than anywhere else as he only works for himself in a one man garage and only took him half a day to repair.
I didn't need my clutch doing so he was able to the repair with the gearbox in place and just removing the bearings from the casing.
If anyone would like his details please feel free to get in touch as I am not sure if I am allowed to post his details on the forum or not. If an admin can tell me I am allowed to then I will happily provide a link to his facebook page or ebay advert.
I don't make anything from recommending him either before someone asks me what commission I'm on lol. Just happy to recommend someone that is honest and good at the service they offer.

As a side note I now have my abarth 500 alloys up for sale that will fit everyone's grande punto with the fitting kit I am supplying and have been running for the last year.
They can be found in the classified section here; https://www.fiatforum.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=33710
