Panda White Wheels (Trims)

I'm not a great fan of black wheels but errrrrr..........I think it's a bit too much. When I close my eyes I can now see two white dots, like when you've stared at a lightbulb.


Take the trims off and paint the wheels white. That'd look 1980s chic. My Alfasuds and older FIATs always looked decent with almost bare wheels.

I did contemplate white steel wheels, but decided the car is a bit too modern looking to pull it off. If it was a classic Panda, then yes - definitely!

I think the white wheels against the blue car is almost rally style (ish). I was looking around for some nice white trims but couldn't find the right style, so spent the time between Christmas and the new year doing my first mini project on the motor. As a first attempt - and having spent less than £20 from Halfrauds - I'm happy enough with the finish I've got.

Now I need my next plan...

Go on, get the Hammerite out and ditch those trims.........




Apologies for the botched Photoshop. I was too lazy to faff with too much distortion fix..

White wheels will always look better then white trims.

Hmm... eye opening...
Although, I either need to get the car lowered (especially the back), or start carrying a boot full of bricks to make it look better lol!

The white wheels on the Abarth's are 16".

Now you need to paint the lower half of the car white too.
(Orange optional)

I'm really not going to do that lol
I have an idea though... :idea: maybe try to go for a mock rally car look? Any comments or suggestions?
