Hi guys,

the time has come for me to sell my beloved punto active sport, abarth replica and now it has gone, i loved this car to bits, alot of time effort and money has gone into this baby, i built it from the ground up i see it as my child LOL. Just want to say cheers guys for all your support.

was lovely being here. I love the fiat forum from the layout to the ease of use, and the people especially on this are very helpful from straight blunt advice to compliments that make you feel a proud owner!!:slayer::worship:

I have moved away from Fiat and now am a vauxhall man now, heres the beast i have replaced my fiat punto with...






Cant wait to do this one up,, many mods to come on this and as always subtle but effective mods, nufin tacky or over the top. all black is the theme...comes with the full XP body kit so saved lots of funds there...the black 18'' VXR wheels you see, i brought brand new with tyres, the car came wid standard silver 16'' wheels but obviously they HAD to be replaced!! it had no tints and had the standard chrome silver v grill and back strip which is now carbon fibre back and front with gloss black front and rear vauxhall badges, as u can see i have already started wid the mods! i dont waste no time

The vx front windows are tinted too dark

Ull be pulled by police to remove them
In an accident ud be blamed due to the tints

yes its "1.4" for cheap insurance but has little twist mate....got a 1.6 turbo sri engine inside mate...177 brake..blowing with the wind... hence why its a beast!

Well done...and a personal thanks from each and every one of us who has to pay more for our car insurance to cover the accidents that involve people who's cars are not legally insured........like you.

then you see how many pay NOTHING ,

Indeed and of course those who purposely slam their brakes on in the hope you bury your car into the back of them then claim for whiplash or even worse the minor bumps where there's only one in the car yet 4 people claim!

Thats all very lovely but if you've changed the engine in your car and not told your insurance company then your not insured, surely you know this.

I do know this gav and my engine is very much 99% standard apart from a different rocker cover but I'm sure I'm allowed that and I'm sure jamaljalil knows this aswell - he hasn't actually said that he won't inform them, you just jumped in and assumed he didn't, feeling all clever then gave me some too. In truth any mods i make are generally small such as panel filters and factory body kits although I have let the odd alloy set slip though the net and I've not long learnt that a certain "add on" I fitted may well need to be declared which I may well do on the next renewal but this was a genuine oversight on my part as I didn't think of the consequences of fitting them in the event of an accident.

Its a forum so 'jumping in' is encouraged...and it seems pretty obvious that the OP is attempting to defraud the insurance company because he says so in his post.

Jumping in IS encouraged by all means this forum is a great place to trade ideas and thoughts ....... Sarcasm and being a smart arse however is frowned upon and you'll find others will be less inclined to help you in any of your queries if your gonna start accusing people of fraud :nono:

I wasn't being a smartarse or using sarcasm, i was pointing out a fact and the fact that someone like you who seems to know a thing or two about Fiats and has been here a while is quite happy to condone insurance fraud makes me think twice about accepting advice from anyone on this forum.
And just to clarify...you are telling me to mind my own business about comments placed on a public forum yes?

If you're that concerned Gavv the Astra's reg is there clear as day, why not report it?

Back on topic, I guarantee you'll miss the Punto, I can't help but find VX's a bit soulless.
