Grande Punto Buller's T-Jet Progress Thread

Introduction

Hi guys,

So as a few of you might know i part-ex'd my MK2 punto and upgraded to a T-jet. I picked it up on Wednesday morning and havent stopped smiling since. I have a long list of plans for it and i'm looking forward to see what i can do with it.

Its currently got the following:

Turbo back exhaust
Dump valve
BMC induction kit
Rear limo tints
Wolfrace 17" alloys
HID 'look' sidelight & headlight bulbs (white with hint of blue)
White key case

My list of mods that i want to do:

Lower 40/50mm
Wind deflectors
Tailored mats
Install my sub and radio
Install flip up screen radio
Turbo upgrade (VL38/VL36)
Remap
Debadged front grille (if i can find one:bang:)
Carbon fibre wing mirrors
Abarth GP seats

So i've got a few plans for it! Only got a quick snap of it outside a friends house at the moment but will upload more as i go on!
I'm wondering if it's got anything to do with the exhaust, tyres or something else?

Exhausts normally help mpg.
We could have dodgy sensors somewhere or sticking brakes.
There are so many things to counter into bad mpg.
What tyres have you got? I know mine dont help because they are badly rated for fuel as they are soft and sticky lol.

Not sure the name of them but will check tomorrow. The near side rear will need replacing soon as it was an advisory on the mot.

Another update:

Fitted the Philips diamond vision bulbs today and they look pukka! I will get a photo up later once it's dark.

Might install my aftermarket radio this week if I can get the standard one out. Also I'll be connecting up my sub!

After that's done, hopefully be getting wind deflectors and a debadged grill.

Anybody know of any very bright white/blue sidelights? Need some to match the diamond vision!

-Buller

Also, i read the description for the philips bulbs youve got, they add no extra light over standard halogens they just shine blue/white for cosmetics lol!
You dont want sidelights brighter than your headlights ;)
