Just an update, I was in the process of decking my GP on coil overs and the jack slipped and the front of the car slammed down, smashing my radiator, bottom of the front panel, heavy damage to the bumper and some how smashed the accident reinforcement bar.. I'm beyond pissed off but that happened 3ish weeks ago and I've had to spend nearly 600 pound to fix it an respray a new number. Here's the only picture I got of the damage

Oh mate :( I am really sorry to hear and see this!

I am pleased it is all fixed again  If you want to recoup some money think of a price for those alloys bud.

Kind Regards
Stephen

When jacking up ur car on ur drive always put ur wheel under the skirt next to ur jack. It will support ur car if the jack fails preventing the damage u have. Also if ur under it workin away it will stop u getting crushed.

Sorry to be blunt but no matter what work im doing on the car i always have a axle stand under there as well as the jack.
Especially if working on suspension as the bolts are so tight that when they do go you jig the car.

Im glad noone was hurt and glad the cars fixed mate but I hope you've learnt your lesson, a £40 set of axle stands could have saved you a lot.

Again, sorry ive been blunt, glad the cars ok, I know i would have been gutted as well.

No worries I understand, and i had an halfords 1 tone axle stand but that saved it a little.. The front was jacked up and it all just went wrong when the wheel came off, mustn't of had the stand in a good enough area, as it nearly went through my footwell floor. I've full well learn't a big lesson, defiantly paid the price. But as I've been telling my friends, its now gave me a reason to get some fogs and new grills whilst I drive around without either of the fog caps or top grill
But thank you.

Just email me ([email protected]) and we can arrange something (y)

UPDATE
Tried plasti dipping my grill gap but yet again another job gone wrong, not sure what I did wrong but it just peeled off with the masking tap. Pretty annoyed once again with my car but I've just wasted 15 quid. But I've just bought some wrap from eBay to do it now..

UPDATE
Going to the VW dub scene with my GP.. Going for 15 inch deep dishes, as I'm selling my abarth alloys. Looking at these alloys at the moment;

Seeing as I've got coil overs I'm going get a nice wheel arch sitting above the wheels. Probably will have to play with the camber arms though..

Cheers:)

the problem you did with the plastidip was let it dry with the masking still around the area. make sure you remove it next time before it starts setting! :p

ATS cups on a GP... interesting....

sell your Abarths to SJB1985 already!

Oh is that why? I've bought vinyl now, doing that job tomorrow morning so look out for that.. Hopefully that doesn't go wrong! I can do these things perfect for my mates cars but it's a different story when it's my own.

But yeah similar alloys to them, but obviously will have them sprayed a new colour (maybe black).
Matt:)

Just seen the damage. Aye Yaye yayyyeee. People at work always laugh at my car photo uploads, with big bits of timber everywhere, and axle stands....but this just shows why i do it. That and the fact after all this your still unhurt, be thankful :)

Car is looking good, ATS cups are an interesting choice. 15" decked, i suppose it can work.

Photo's!
