Here I am, from Italy with my '06 Fiat Panda 100HP, installed an LPG BRC 24Sequent system right after purchasing the car (y)
I'm spending more time on my Panda than with my family T_T

Lovely rims, those are Oz Miky Biasion 7jx15 et28 with 15mm spacers :D
Their original colour was this, I made them painted powder (is this English?)

(a sudden snowfall in October 2012 surprised me with summer tires and the holiday box still mounted on the roof )

only a few little things plastidipped like lateral mirrors and front/rear logos.. wait wait wait! about the roof.. tomorrow I'll post some interesting pics of my roof, or what's left of it Ahhhh

here it is, my favourite mod :D
done in an afternoon/evening with two friends of mine..

one..

two..

three and..

..almost convertible :slayer:

all sealed with a special metal sheets silicone, tried to wash with a pressure washer and there's no leak at all, love the air that flows and the rain's muffled sound :p

(I won't post photos of the wip to avoid heart or panic attacks among you  )

it's all stained and filth because of aaaaaall this good weather

you know that feeling with the angle grinder in my hand, after taking and marking measures for like 20 times? Ahhhh

everyone turns to look at this strange convertible Panda..
Skydome is too mainstream, it's f*cking expensive and then it weights too much..
this comes from Ebay.de 90€ from a guy named Fritz, priceless :D

Wow that's a real bargain!!!

Imagine if you got it wrong

It will be interesting to see how it does over winter. How long have you had it installed?

I sold one of these webasto roofs for £40. Wish i'd kept it now! That amazing, takes real guts to start choppin' the roof out your car :O!

webasto's are too expensive and not that huge, this comes from a Twingo :)

yes, I didn't feel very well in the middle of the mod, but the day after, going around with the sky over my head, that was awesome..

in these days I'm wrapping the cutted ceiling with black sky (eco leather, fake leather, don't know how you call it :p), after a period with no ceiling to check that there was no leaking of water

Thanks!!!

Today with 112k km I changed the services belt, the motor belt and the water pump.

Look a the differences between stock and new water pump!

It's huge! Well, I'll have tsunamis and sh*ts like that in the engine now :D

Can you tell us the size of the opening that the sun roof gives, please? Not the hole you had the nerve to cut in the roof panel of your car but the actual opening with the fabric right back. I ask because I'm still agonising about having a Webasto fabric roof put in my 4x4 TA and the sticking point is trying to envisage how much opening there would be - I'm guessing yours is something like 90cms long where the Webasto 400 is only 62cms.

(By the way, where are you in Italy?)

Bellissimo! Benvenuto:) a great car you have modified there. I only bought my Panda 4x4 because of all my travel to Lago di Como and every other car there is a Panda 4x4. Where in Italia are you? I love your roof mod:)

Thank you :3
Actually I live right in that lake, I'm from Lecco! You're right, there are toooo many Pandas over here..

You mean only the effective clear space that you can see from inside looking over your head?
The ragtop folds back it folds over itself so it occupies some room in the opening. (Is this English???)

So the shape of the frame from the inside is 118x71cm

The effective opening from is 85x71cm (and that's huge when full opened!)

The edge-to-edge of fabric from the outside is 130x88cm

And the ragtop is from a mk1 Twingo, the Webasto one is not that good-looking and it's tooooo expensive!!!!

I do all the work with less than 200€ including sealant and consumable tools :)

For any further question I'm here! :D

I have been to Lecco many times. Such a beautiful place to live!

Yup! Totally! Great lanscapes and nice food :)

Did you get the ferry on the lake?
Next time you'll come just write me to meet and see a couple of 100hps!
