Panda My new ride.

Actually, far better and MOST cars on the market atm.

Worst one I think is Nissan Juke. I bet u get better visibility out of the tank :D

People who complain about the ride quality too, it's like they've never driven a car made before 2000 before.

Ride is decent compared to most modified and unmodified sports cars

Small Panda mirrors are perfect for me, bigger would be a distraction. Again, I drove a lot of big vans and having massive mirrors not always a good thing.

Come on guys you have taken over this poor guys thread leave it alone now and move on :bang:

Haha..i don't mind and to be honest i've not had a problem with the mirrors and i drive hgv's for a living, the n/s one is a bit of a bad design but its no big issue.. in other news i've just ordered an Ulter-sport rear box as i had a quick look underneath and found that mine was on its last legs, opinions seem to be pretty good regarding the item and the price so we'll see how it goes.

Just over 300 miles clocked up since i bought it and i love it more every time i drive it!! :worship:

bigger mirrors lead to bigger blind spots around the A pillar. ..like people who insist on putting sat navs on bottom right of windscreen. ludicrous. compared to old skool wing mirrors ANY door mirror is a revolutionary device. I remember driving cars with no side mirrors...that is an educational process. The 'lifesaver' head turn should be part of everyone's driving style. ..if u ride motorbikes it is the last movement before changing position. In any situation I feel it's all about adapting to the vehicle.

This was my point, exactly but using different words.

Great choice of back box, that's what I went for and can't complain! Did you go for the 80mm pipe or the 100mm??? I went for the 80mm and bought this new rubber hanger to replace the wheel arch side rubber to help space the tail pipe away from the bumper as with the original rubber the tail pipe was touching the bumper.

Yeah i went for the 80mm too as i don't want to have to modify the bumper or make it look too boy-racer, i've read good things about ulter-sports service so i'm looking forward to getting the exhaust.

This might seem like a daft question but how do you change the intermittent wiper delay, i've looked in the handbook and i can't figure it out.

Is there a requirement for the gearbox oil to be changed and if so what is it?.. i'm quite happy to do it myself or should i leave it till the next service and ask them to do it.

What are peoples views on servicing the car myself, i've always serviced my own cars and i do a much more thorough job and at shorter intervals than is specified.
I always use the best parts and oils etc but how does it affect re-sale values and is it possible to reset the service indicator, or should i just carry on with the already full service history that came with the car?

The service light can be reset with fiatecuscan and a cheap lead of ebay, as for the resale value I cant imagine it being affected that much :/

The Ulter-sport backbox turned up yesterday and looks like a quality bit of kit, had a go at fitting it this evening but i couldn't get the old one to seperate from the mid box despite plenty of swearing and banging so left the old one on and i'll have another go at it on friday afternoon.
