Sounds proper mean, is that a Hoffman mid-pipe and back box? my mate had one on his 1.2 8v Clio and it was incredibly loud ? I like it though!

Haha it was yes, today I fiitted new stainless straight through mid with 3" Sportex - much more civilised noise now.

Had an eventful day, was crunching in reverse and a bit of a pain. Slave cylinder was rusted up so replaced that and replaced new fluid. Feels like a new car!

Can't get enough wheels, can you? I'd be happy to take the other ones of you, but I've just had a set of Azev A's refurbed for mine, for this season! ;)

Lol the others looked the business but because they were so wide (turns out they were 8j) parking was a real bitch. The turning circle on the punto is pretty lame as it is and with those it was even worse.

I have to park in a rubbish car park at work and they really didnt help lol
I sold them for £250 in the end with tyres, probably a bit cheap but never mind.

Azev A's look great, I do prefer the older brands. My 'new' ones are 20 years old but in brilliant condition. Think I may paint the middle of them gloss black as think the 2 tone on deep dish looks good. Need to decide on what tyres next too - the stretch on the others made for a rather bumpy ride too.

Make sure you get some pics up once yours are refurbed matey!

Yours look very nice mate, did you roll your arches yourself?

I've been naughty and have gone with 175/55's for a little stretch - hoping the will fit under ok - more worried about the offset on the inside...

Yeah, rolled myself - left one (first one) looks horrible, the right side is better ;)
I don't think you'll have a problem with inside clearance. 175 stretch on a 7" isn't a lot. Depends on the brand of course, but my Falken's sit nicely :)

I'm too scared to roll mine myself - can hire a roller cheap but think I'll fluff it lol

Thanks for info mate, appreciate it.

Well the 'new' alloys are on and fit well as she stands.
175/50/15 on 7j's with et35.

They will be changing colour shortly!

I have new coilovers going on too so think I may need to space the rear wheels.

Think there will be a touch of camber on the rear due to being wound down low and with et35 the wheels may lean in to the body at the top.

Also fitting new set of colour change angel eyes to the headlights. Fingers crossed all comes together!
