Grande Punto My 1.2 active grande punto (cookie monster)

Introduction

So I thought it was about time I started a members motor thread for my boy. I bought him on my 20th birthday in mid may. It came looking like the first picture. I like the way it looks now but I have a few plans both short and long term for when I have the money.

So basically e stuff already done to it:
Stainless full exhaust system
16" team dynamics white with blue strip
Scorpion badge
White stripes and side stickers
And the second pictures of after I gave it a good clean and polish
Back three tints

Things I've done:
Kept it clean ;)
Took the door bump strips off
White bulbs (not HID)

Future plans:
Hoping to lower next year when I can chose to own insurance as I'm on multicar with admiral with everyone else in the house at the moment

Head unit change (pretty far down the list)

Tinted headlights/tail lights or abarth light (undecided)

Wheels refurb in anthracite

And painting the grills black.

Any other suggestions are very welcome and I would like to hear you ideas. I will post some more pictures below that I think look good.

The last two were taken this evening, and me and my mate went for a drive and found a nice empty field. I apologise for the dirty car it's getting cleaned this week at some point.
Hello mate and welcome to Fiat Forum and welcome to the GP family :D.

Would be nice to see your GP mate as we all love a bit of GP eye candy LOL :)

Regards
Stephen

Ordered them about an hour ago. Hopefully there are some in stock haha.

Update. I'm getting the brakes done this weekend I hope, new pads and disks (not sure how the drums are holding up) so they may need doing also.
Anyone got a rough idea on how much it's likely to be for a small independent garage?

So I got home from the garage with my new brakes on and thought I'll give him a quick clean which then escalated into a 3hours of it haha!

I t-cutted the wheels as the wheel had faded quite a bit and couldn't believe how well it came up. GOOD OLD TCUT!? There were a hell of a lot of burnt on crap on them so I am very pleased.

before and after shown below and then one of the cleanness :p

P. S think I'm going to start saving as much as possible and get some of my ideas out into action and on the car! Any comment on my car are welcome either good or bad fire away

That's the thing I've always not been keen on them? Bet then I got this and thought hmm maybe I've been wrong lol. I can't get over how they've come up. They had a creamy colour over the years and a few hours sat on my bottom on the drive and BAM

So I just went out to try this Simoniz aerosol I got and I'm pretty shocked how bad it's turned. I've had give a fair few coats to see any difference and it just seems very streaky I'm gonna go and buy some different stuff and give it another go. I'll get pictures up when I'm happy ;)

This is the stuff I used first and that's how it turned out after about 3 maybe 4 coats

I ended up at Halfords to get the car plan bumper gel and ended up spending around 30 pounds on detailing goodies (typical). I'm really please with how the car plan stuff has worked. (I'll post pictures below)

On another not I'm wondering if any of you have used a website called plates for cars. They do a resin gel numberplate that's are lovely! Just wondered if anyone's knows if they are actually legal. The website says they are but they are always gonna say that. I have also ordered some other little mods for her which I will post about when they arrive. Sometime in the week hopefully. I

Pictures aren't posing correctly again on the app, I'll try on another post

Updates: some of my stuff has been dispatched and I'm winning on some carbon wrap on ebay so hopefully I will win that and then I can have a play. Hoping my ff stickers have been delivered as I haven't been home from my gf's since Thursday

Car looks really nice mate but I have never liked the fiat thick and thin stripe on the bonnet, just my honest opinion mate but tye car looks really well!

I was undecided when I bought as it was already on the car. But I've grown to like them now, and it's just the door stickers I'm not keen on but I've not had the time to remove them so far and I don't know if I'd regret taking them off.

I'm thinking of different ideas at the minute, I'm thinking off scrapping the white theme and going blue/grey or anthracite. I can get some dark grey stickers like my white one for 25 pounds so not so bad and the wheels need a refurb anyway.

Need to get my mind made first and it won't till I can afford anyway haha

I am lowering but wanna wait until next Feb when I can leave admiral and find somewhere else and my insurance will be cheaper then aswel hopefully. I plus money is tight while on an apprenticeship ;)

And the wheels are 16"s. I prefer them to the 17s
