Hi All

Will upload more pictures etc soon :)

Mods that I have done so far

  1. Modified badges (Black and Silver)
  2. Sprayed front Grille (Black from Silver)
  3. New Interior LED Light (Super Bright)
  4. New back box gives a more grunty noise but not too Loud
Hope you all enjoy it and give me some ideas of MODS to do next !
So then people, what do you think I should do next or does anyone have a list of mods that they think I should carry out ?

I am already planning on lowering it soon so any other mods in peoples minds ?

Regards

Will

Right then arbarth it is ;)

The front Abarth lights I ordered before were £100 for the pair, I'm still to see them, but with crossed fingers they'll be good quality :D

Car looks lovely mate :D I've seen a few grey GPs around and about and it's a lovely colour, and those wheels are cracking with it :)

Considered front fog lights, or painting your front calipers? I reckon red'd look great against the grey :D both fairly cost effective jobs that make a big difference IMHO

Hey :) How did you do your badges? :) Grill (and badge) looks good! :) (y)

I just followed the guide about the badges and for the grille I took it off the car , snaded it with a really light grain paper, pressure washed it and then left it to dry for about 1 hour then gave it 3 very good individual coats of hlafords black matt spray paint :)

What colour would you suggest for the brake calipers ?

And is there a guide for how to do it ?

How about a nice red to go with the red DUB stripe mate? Mate it is really simple I personally just take the wheels off and go at he calipers/drums with a wire brush for abit and then paint them with some hammerite and a brush

Do they do a spray version of the caliper paint ? I only ask as it normally gives a much better finish !

And how long does it take to dry etc and do how long does the full process take? The red paint would be good I think !

Its normally touch dry in about an hour. In this weather with the heat it may cure a little quicker mate I would expect it to fully cure in about 3-5 hours :)

Fine :) ill save it as a weekend job then ;) I reckon they would set the car off nicely, so yiu just wire brush the calipre then spray it ! ?

Just one coat or a few ? And im guessing I have to masking tape my discs up !

Re: WillGP's Grey Dub Edition GP

Don't forget the brakes will obviously heat up too if you drive the car. Best to leave it for as long as you possibly can. 5 hours should be fine but I would rather leave it for something like 12, just my 2 cents ?
