500 (Abarth) Abarth 500C

It is now about one year since I owned this lovely Abarth.
Some major modifications so far:
Bilstein PSS14 coilover
Team Dynamic Procace 1.2 17" rims
Front Brembo kit
Ragazzon straight exhaust
TMC tuning box

Just read a thread from July 2012 on the 695 brembo kit and it's good to see the results.
Can you give us some idea on costs and how would you sequence the mods if you were to stagger them ?
Was the Brembo kit worth fitting ?
Any idea what it would give on a RR ?

I have the Brembo kit on my A500c SS and its well worth it. The brakes the car should have had in the first place as the standards don't inspire confidence when pressing on hard.

A well know Abarthisti is selling a new set on eBay. Anything upto £1k is a good price. I paid £1.1k fitted at a dealer.

I never regret about the Brembo brake upgrade. Improvement in braking power is obvious. With the TMC tuning box, I'm sure the brakes are more than sufficient for the increased power. Cosmetically it is also unbeatable. If you will do some power upgrade to your Abarth, you won't go wrong with this brake upgrade as far as u are ok with the price.

I got the Brembo kit from TMC and total is 1250 pounds with shipping. I start the upgrade first with suspension, then wheels, then power upgrade, then brake upgrade and lastly on exhaust. I'm not a hardcore driver so performance is not my primary concern but rather on cosmetic. It's really upto you on what to do first. For me the look is what I focused so you can see why my upgrading sequence was like.

Thanks for the response sazabi. I have the Brembos on the 155TB and compared with the standard A500 sized brakes on the OHs MiTo MJ the difference is really noticeable coming down from motorway speeds and going across the Dublin mountains. Wasn't too sure it they were overkill on a A500 (even a tuned one) but they certainly look the business.(y)
