Hi GTA.
Great Motor.... I was about three hours north of Jo'burg last month and I wondered what that noise was, I was blaming the Hippo!

This project took me 6 months..... Now just some minor adjustments, before I can feel the full power potential.

I took a drive last night for the first time.....

I think it kicks out 5 kw's more than the Alfa...heheheheheh.

Tonight I have to plug in the laptop to up the flow of the juices.

Lowering is on the way....First need to get it going.

then get it on the rolling road! hehe i bet that will have a monster power curve!!! :worship:

Power curve will surely be a tadd more than a lawn mover. Only kidding...

Dunc..... The time and effort was no problem..... Biggest problem was the alcohol consumtion of all the visitors.

OMG...............OMG...............

I drove a 2.0l 16 Turbo UT last night.

Took the revs up to 10500, in 3rd, then the road ended. That was sooooo much fun.

Still need to sort the feul mapping to respond better at the low revs.

Will be testing again this sunday.

Now I remember again what its like to drive a Uno Turbo. This stuff is soooooo addictive.

Some massive IC you got there....What is your KW reading on that monster?

Have you got some more pictures on the interior? Like the seat mountings and the from the rear of the boot section.

Not to bad for the first time.

Took her out on the morning full cuircut racing. Out of the corners into the straights she is like a rocket, but into the corners, she needs better brakes and way more handeling.

On the 400m sprint, my biggest problem was 1st and second gear.... she kept on spinning...no matter what I do. When I hook 3rd. then I actually feel the G's for the first time.....this is when she really starts moving.

Fists run 15.005.... Mutalated a 2l 16 Superboss Turbo
2nd run 15 flat....lost agains a Noble M400 by 3 seconds
3rd run 14.8 Beat a MR2 by a car lenth. Same engine as in the Uno.

Saturday was a nice testing session for me.....Now I have to go back to the drawing board to sort the traction.

Respect for the Toy motor......She did not miss one beat on saturday.

that car is amazin. more power than you can wave a reasonable sized, well balanced stick at. I'm not usually a fan of unos but that car looks ace mate! well done on the transformation!
