Grande Punto My Red Grande T-Jet (Daisy)

Introduction

I fell in love with it when i first saw it and knew it had to be mine.
Ive done a few small mods since owning it.
Xenon look headlight bulbs
Abarth mats
Yatour music changer
Chrome indicator bulbs in the headlights and side repeaters to get rid of the fried egg look
Forge motorsport induction kit
Powerflow backbox
De-wipered, de-badged

Im a big fan of keeping the car clean as well.
Future mods are coilovers and some different wheels.
Re-vinyl the A and B pillars as they are awful.
Vinyl the numberplate bit between the grills.

Anyhow, pictures from when i first got it, to now. (Nothings changed really  )
Heres the result from mapping today.
Im pretty happy with it :)

168bhp and 195ft lb of torque, very good.
It would have been more but the earlier tjet engine ecus (mine) software isnt upto giving more power.
If i wanted more id have to get the abarth ecu!
Im done spending now though! As far as im concered daisy is finished and can enjoy her now :)

Impressive mate, what made you struggle with the turbo swap?

Both times ive tried to swap mine ive had isdues with the bottom oil feed and seperating the turbine section from the manifold.

All the oil and coolant feeds came off fine for me.
The heat shield was the pig haha!
And swapping the studs over from the old turbo!
We had lots of plus gas to remove the bolts, it helps a lot mate :)

Its funny, my heat shield comes off dead easy.

I tried to do it without messing about with the manifold by removing the collar that secures the turbo to the manifold but it wouldnt budge and i had to give up due to time constraints.

It should be such a quick and easy job but never wants to go right!

Ive had the abarth turbo over a year!!
